Eve Sherman was stunned upon hearing this.
Then she smiled and honestly replied, "I guess I'm not exactly a gentle person."
"Is it because I'm your boss that you act so thoroughly?"
Eve tilted her head and thought for a moment, "Isn't that expected? You pay my salary, so naturally, I should follow your orders."
Stellan Sutton's eyes darkened upon hearing this, but he said nothing further, merely nodding, "Let's go."
"If there's something you want to say, just go ahead."
Eve didn't start the car, she looked at Stellan's face with seriousness, "I've noticed you've been in a bad mood since we set out today. Although I suspect Ms. Rory Shaw might have said something to you, I still feel that you wouldn't care much about my background or my personal affairs."
Stellan contemplated for a moment, "What you're implying is that I should be fair and impartial, without a hint of personal emotions."
