Eve was originally lying. Seeing how much he cared, she felt somewhat guilty, "It's nothing, President Sutton. Work is more important; my matters can be postponed."
Stellan Sutton nodded, "That's good. Then coordinate with the relevant personnel, prepare the materials, and we'll head to Sterling after lunch."
"Alright."
After dealing with Eve's matters, Stellan Sutton spent the remaining time sitting at his desk, lost in thought.
Lucas noticed that he seemed preoccupied and probed, "President Sutton, did something happen?"
"Nothing."
Stellan Sutton said, then raised his eyes to look at him, "Don't mention this afternoon's matter in front of Sherman again in the future."
"Of course I won't, it's just... has the schedule being moved up so much really got something to do with Sherman's leave this afternoon? I can't quite grasp it. I feel like since our return, as your special assistant, I'm lagging behind on so many things. Has our relationship changed?"
