"Alright, I know about this. I'll have someone investigate Ryan Aldridge's record. From what you said, it seems he wants to lure your friend to Veridia, where she could end up trapped forever. People like him might have some blemish on their history; checking it out will reveal the truth. Even if he doesn't, you don't need to worry. I'll help you keep an eye on their every move."
For some reason, hearing Stellan Sutton say this made Eve Sherman suddenly feel relieved.
"President Sutton, hearing you say that makes me inexplicably relieved."
"It's not a big deal for me. After all, I know a lot of people."
Stellan Sutton smiled lightly, "I can see you're very worried about her. Try talking to her more often. Indirect hints won't work; you need to be direct. Or play a clever trick, using her feelings for Ryan Aldridge to expose the instability in their relationship."
