"Mom, I haven't really thought about that for now. I'm just focused on getting through the difficulties at home as quickly as possible."
Eve Sherman lowered her eyelashes, unsure of how to continue.
"Anyway, it's your life, you decide how to live it. We can't control you anymore. If you're not happy, don't continue with it. Even if you get a divorce, our home will always welcome you back. Don't feel too pressured."
Eve was somewhat moved upon hearing this.
"Thank you, Mom. I understand."
The mother and daughter packed up their things, and Stellan Sutton had almost finished drinking with them.
"Why not just stay and rest here today? It seems like your grandson-in-law is drunk."
Eve watched him sitting there, holding his head and in a daze. He was obviously different from his usual self, definitely drunk.
But she hadn't thought about staying here to rest.
"No, Grandma, I drove here. I can take him home, after all. There are elders waiting for him there."
