"Why are you calling me? I haven't even reached out to you."
As soon as Stella answered the phone, she spoke impatiently.
Finn chuckled lightly on the other end, "Miss you."
Eve furrowed her brows upon hearing this.
This player is something else.
"Miss me for what? Go find that Gigi Thorne of yours, what happened? Did she find a new flame and kick you out?"
"Maybe, she said she was leaving and won't be staying in Ardane."
"Then why are you calling me, out of women around you now?"
Stella's expression soured, and her tone followed suit.
"Yeah, sort of. Are you free to grab a meal? I don't like eating alone."
"You!"
Stella was practically infuriated by him.
But when he asked her out for a meal, deep down she told herself a thousand times not to go, yet she still asked, "Where?"
Eve didn't want to listen any further and turned around to leave the room.
Not long after, Stella changed into a new outfit and was ready to head out.
