When Stellan called Ethan Cameron to the hospital to check on Eve Sherman that evening, Ethan was on the verge of losing it.
He looked at Stellan and Eve with a face full of confusion.
"How can you two manage to get injured all day?"
Eve awkwardly pulled the corners of her mouth, "I was careless and slipped in the bathroom."
Ethan sighed, "Let's get an X-ray first, to see if there's any bone injury."
After sending Eve to the CT room, Stellan stood outside, concerned.
"You be careful, you got your sister-in-law's leg into this state."
Upon hearing this, Stellan frowned.
"What do you mean?"
"Just what I said! Your sister-in-law's knee turned out like that, it will affect her walking in the future. Even if you've never been with a woman before, you should take it easy!"
It took Stellan a while to understand what he was referring to.
"It wasn't me."
Stellan explained with a serious expression.
