Chapter 46 - Chapter 046: Have Some Great Intuition

"Are you a masochist?"

His eyes turned cold the moment I spoke.

"Why are you reacting that way? You are the one being entertained by me while I am ignoring you," I said with accusation.

He put down the gun before going up the stairs. I just shrugged at his mood swing.

Thinking about how dirty I am, I finished my coffee before going up as well.

Kieran had just removed his white shirt when I entered.

My eyes ended up looking at his six-pack abs.

He isn't bulky, but he's definitely firm.

"I thought you were on the thin side. Did not expect that you'd be so firm," I commented.

He raised an eyebrow at my comment.

It seems that even in our subconsciousness, we have accepted each other as our spouse, and we are not even shy at this encounter.

Not that I am a shy person.

I'd rather appreciate the view than shy away from it. Come on, it is not always that I'd see something as beautifully sculpted as his.

He held on to his belt as I continued looking at him.

"Go on," I said without batting an eyelid.

Instead, he turned and entered the shower. I made a face.

It was a once-in-a-blue-moon thing that he would actually dare me like that. Why did he back down?

I decided to take my clothes and towel to the other guest room. I am too sticky that I wanted a shower this instant.

Once done, I went down to see that the table was already set and Kieran was already seated there, eating.

He did not even bother waiting for me.

All the dishes that Fiona cooked were delicious, and they can even compare to those in the restaurant. Who would have thought I'd get to enjoy this every day from now on?

Now my cooking seemed mediocre in comparison. Even what Kieran cooked back then was more delicious than my cooking. I couldn't help but frown.

*Clink*

I looked up when I heard the sound of a spoon hitting the glass plate.

Kieran was looking at me with a frown.

"I'm sorry," I found myself apologizing.

It seems that he dislikes others scowling while in front of food.

For now, I guess, I know one thing about him when it comes to living together.

But that was also unexpected, in a sense, a ruthless person showing respect at the table, not towards the person but towards the dishes.

Or maybe he dislikes it when others are scowling while he is eating?

I don't know, I'll just keep in mind not to think unpleasant things when we are dining together.

Quite a day it is today.

...

I was resting in the living room when Fiona approached me, first aid box at hand. Kieran went up to the bedroom.

"Shall I help you with your wounds, young madam?" she asked.

"Thank you," I replied, not rejecting her offer.

She started treating the small wounds all over my body, some were even on the back.

Since I am wearing a big loose shirt and shorts, it is easier for her to treat them.

As she was treating the ones at my back, my shirt was pulled up, which Kieran witnessed when he once again came back down.

He looked at me before he continued walking towards the study room.

I pouted, "Did not even compliment my body."

I looked down at myself.

Even though my shirt was pulled up, I was wearing a sports bra under it. This is what I am comfortable with when inside the house.

He would have seen my toned stomach. I have no abs, but it is definitely flat and slightly toned.

And if I might add, I have an hourglass body, not too much but enough to gain the envy of others. So my waist is on the smaller side.

I heard Fiona laugh.

"I mean, I am a sexy person. I even complimented him when I saw him shirtless a while ago. But he only glanced at me before walking away? That somehow hurt my ego."

Fiona continued laughing at my remarks.

"Well, I guess he just does not know how to appreciate beauty."

Fiona seemed quite amused by all my monologues.

"Come to think of it," when something else came to mind.

"What is it?" Fiona asked, just as she finished tending to my wounds.

I smiled at her, "It is quite nice to actually have a conversation with someone."

Fiona furrowed her brows in confusion.

"Oh, sorry. I was getting used to facing those who barely speak. My husband, for one, and his cousin for another. I got used to speaking to myself, whether here or in their office."

Fiona chuckled, "You are quite peculiar, young madam."

I smiled, "Thank you for the compliment."

"It is a compliment," she clarified.

"I know," I giggled.

"But what did you just remember?" she asked, returning to the beginning of this conversation.

"Both of us guessed the number of people who would be sent to warn me. And we both think that 20 would be the case. Thinking back, there were indeed twenty people a while ago."

"No wonder you looked quite disheveled," she commented.

She looked so used to this kind of conversation that she did not seem bothered by how I spoke about my adventure a while ago.

"Well, I had to roll around some grassland. You know, that one before getting here, the one opposite a mountain," I said.

Fiona nodded her head, "I did notice that place, a ten-minute-long grassland and mountain without a house in sight."

Indeed, this villa has no neighbors. And before one could get here, they needed to pass the place where everything had happened a while ago.

That is also why no one would really notice the battle that occurred.

"Anyway, as I was saying, it seems that both of us have some great intuition."
