I found myself staring blankly at Kieran, who was wearing a black suit and white shirt with a dark blue necktie.
His cufflinks were navy blue.
Then I looked down at my off-shoulder, long-sleeved navy blue mermaid gown.
The color of our clothes matched, and he looked at me yesterday as if I was speaking some nonsense when I asked what color he would be wearing.
"You were playing with me, weren't you?" I instantly accused him.
It is obvious that he checked what color I would be wearing. I know for sure that's what he did.
Or else what?

And the darker tones at that?
Who would I be kidding with that thought?
He raised an eyebrow before gesturing to the door.
"We're going together?" I asked.
He turned and left.
Right now, I can tell that this guy isn't just cold and ruthless, but he's also random. Nevertheless, I followed him to the car, where Michael was already waiting.
I hired someone to do my hair and makeup early this afternoon. Though I asked for it to be minimal since I am just there to show off my position as chairwoman and irritate the rest even more.

Some looked at me with curiosity. They must be wondering who I was since Lilith Kingsley was rarely seen in such events before.

Everyone started whispering when we started chatting with each other, while Kieran stood there with his cold aura, but without impatience.

I turned when someone finally approached me.
"Yes?" I asked, keeping the smile, but there was gloating in my eyes.
Samantha Kingsley came after seeing how close I look towards Melissa Foster.
Many wished to approach her as well, but they all eventually failed. Because even though Melissa seemed welcoming, she has this aura that tells people her smile was nothing but politeness.
Thinking about it, it seems that Kieran got his aura from his mother.
"Don't you think we could introduce one another since we are already connected?"
I glanced at Richard, who wasn't far, and I could see horror in his face.
Richard wouldn't want the news of my marriage to come from the Kingsley Family.
He would have wanted it to come from the Sinclair Family because he also wanted to know their stand.

As if on cue, tears dropped from eyes. They are tears I had been preparing from the start. Tears that are nothing but water, something only for a show.
Kieran slowly looked down at me. I looked at him and, using my eyes, asked him for a handkerchief.
His brow slightly rose. Nevertheless, he took out a handkerchief.
I was prepared to receive it when his hand went up and wiped my tears himself. I was inwardly shocked but tried my best to keep my composure.
This guy, is this his entertainment today?
"My eldest brother, Riven. He did not even let me know what was going on here. I was at a very important transition in my life during this year that he decided to keep quiet about everything," I sniffed and leaned on Kieran.
Then I turned to Samantha and Richard, who finally got close to us, but it was too late because my drama had started.
"But none of you told me anything either!!"
I even placed my hand on my chest while Kieran seemed to enjoy wiping my tears, though his other hand remained in his pocket.
