Chapter 52 - Chapter 52 Frieza: Green? As Long as It's Not Gold, No Need to Worry

To be honest, Dodoria's flattery felt a bit like patting the horse's leg the wrong way.

A combat power of 100,000 in the Frieza Force was only slightly inferior to Ginyu.

For Dodoria, with his combat power just over 20,000, to dare say 'completely insignificant' about Lott's 100,000 combat power, seemed downright laughable.

"Dodoria."

Frieza spoke up abruptly again.

"My Lord?"

Dodoria looked up.

Frieza leaned close to Dodoria's fat face, staring dead at him. "You go eliminate that green-haired monkey."

"Me!?"

Dodoria shrank his neck back.

His wide eyes clearly screamed, 'The pay is so low, and you want me to risk my life too?'

"Heh~"

Frieza let out a cold laugh, ending the pointless joke, then remembered an ancestral warning passed down through his clan-

Beware the Super Saiyan with golden aura.

And within the Saiyan Race itself, there was also a legend about the [Super Saiyan].

This had always made Frieza wary of the Saiyan Race.

The sudden appearance of a 'glowing' Saiyan immediately caught his attention.

Seeing Frieza remain silent for a long time, Dodoria mustered his courage and proposed:

"I-If My Lord, you are afr..."

"Hmm!?"

Before Dodoria could finish the word, Frieza shot him a murderous glare, scaring Dodoria so much he nearly wet himself and quickly changed his tune:

"If My Lord finds that green-haired monkey displeasing, should we prepare a spaceship to head for that Planet Terra immediately?"

"Dodoria, wouldn't it feel worthless to lose your life just for saying the wrong thing?"

Frieza asked coldly.

"Yes! Yes, yes!"

Dodoria nodded repeatedly in fear.

Frieza hates it most when people say he's afraid of Saiyans!

Frieza then closed the video of Lott's transformation and opened another group file.

It was last week's live stream of the final match between Goku and Piccolo in the World Martial Arts Tournament.

Of course, Frieza wasn't interested in such low-level combat.

What caught his attention was when Kami tried to kill Piccolo, and Goku stopped him, saying:

"Kami, stop! If you kill Piccolo, won't you die too? What will happen to this world then?"

Kami said anxiously, "Then we can just use the Dragon Balls to revive me later!"

Goku immediately retorted, "But aren't the Dragon Balls created by you, Kami? If you die, won't the Dragon Balls disappear too?!"

Frieza narrowed his eyes into slits, lost in thought.

Based on this exchange, it seemed those 'Dragon Balls' possessed the ability to revive the dead.

'This green-skinned fellow... is a Namekian, right?'

Frieza stared intently at Kami and Piccolo in the footage.

He recalled that Namekians were naturally born with decent combat power.

More rarely, they controlled many strange and unusual abilities.

'So, this Namekian created some kind of item that could revive people?'

Frieza didn't have anyone he wanted to revive.

But from their conversation, a question occurred to him-

Besides revival, did that thing called [Dragon Balls] have any other uses?

After some consideration, Frieza decided to focus on these Dragon Balls.

After all, the ancestral warning was about the 'Super Saiyan with golden aura'.

This monkey was just green, not gold. No need to worry... probably.

An unknown amount of time later.

Lott opened his eyes under the high-frequency shaking from Chika.

"What's wrong? No school today, right?"

Lott rubbed his eyes sleepily.

"It's so strange! The phone says it's 10 a.m., but, but..."

Chika pulled on one of Lott's arms, pointing out the window with a mix of shock and fear.

Lott didn't need her to say it, as he sensed something was wrong the very next second.

The gravity his body felt was different from before.

He looked out the window.

It was still pitch black.

If not for the abnormal gravity, Lott might have mistaken it for accidentally sleeping the whole day due to overexertion with Chika last night.

But seeing the phone display showing 10 a.m., combined with this bizarre gravity...

"I feel so light..."

Chika curiously got up, gave a small hop, and her height exceeded one and a half meters.

Just as her forehead was about to hit the ceiling, Lott immediately pulled her back and wrapped the blanket around her.

Those things were shaking too much.

"It's because the moon was destroyed."

Even though Lott hadn't studied hard in either of his lives, he understood the moon's importance to Planet Terra.

If nothing else, it was the moon's gravitational pull that allowed Planet Terra to maintain a stable axial tilt, resulting in distinct seasonal changes.

But now, with the moon gone, Planet Terra's original order was completely disrupted.

First, the day shortened from 24 hours to less than 10, and gravity dropped to about one-third of what it was.

Not to mention the huge impact on the ecosystem.

"I went overboard back then."

Lott rubbed his temples.

It was the first time since arriving on Planet Terra that he had so much fun.

He forgot to consider the consequences in the heat of the moment.

"What do we do now?"

Chika poked just her head out from the wrapped blanket, looking like a Sewaddle from the Planet Pokémon.

Even with her personality that enjoyed watching chaos, she knew how serious the moon's disappearance was.

After some calculation, Lott shrugged:

"No choice. Have to use that move."
