ONE YEAR LATER
Wu Suo Wei stood in his clinic, stitching up yet another guard's wound, when familiar arms wrapped around him from behind.
"You're interrupting my work," Wu Suo Wei said, though he leaned back into Chi Cheng's embrace.
"Your patient can wait." Chi Cheng pressed a kiss to Wu Suo Wei's neck, right over a fading mark. "I haven't seen you all day."
"You saw me this morning. When you wouldn't let me out of bed."
"That was hours ago." Chi Cheng's hands slid possessively over Wu Suo Wei's stomach. "I miss you."
The guard smirked. "Boss is still whipped."
"And you still have a death wish," Chi Cheng said without heat. "Get out. Come back in an hour."
The guard left quickly.
The moment they were alone, Chi Cheng turned Wu Suo Wei around, backing him against the medical table.
Chi Cheng murmured. "We've been married one year."
Chi Cheng's hands framed Wu Suo Wei's face.
"I love you. More every day."
"I love you too."
Chi Cheng kissed him deeply.
Chi Cheng picked up Wu Suo Wei in his arms.
What are you doing?
