"All of his meridian has been damaged, if not for the Flora Core pill that you got from your friend in the Azure Sky kingdom, he might not have survived. Not to mention the repairs that we've done to the damages in his body." The healer said.
" How long will he be unconscious for?." Pang De asked, sitting beside his son, who was lying on the bed unconscious. He looked extremely pale and malnourished and that was after he had been pulled from a critical condition.
"I don't know, he might take a week, a month, but that is not the problem. It might take him at least three years to get back to the way he was, energetic and all, and he will have to be a top priority." The healer answered.
Pang De dug his fingers into his fist, his body visibly shaking as he heard this. Taking a deep breath,
"Three years... As long as after three years everything will be fine." He finally said after a moment of silence.
"There is more..." The said after a little hesitation, then he moved closer to him whispering some things into his ear.
After listening to what the healer had to say, his already bad mood worsened and the only thing on his mind was finding whoever did this to your son and make them beg for death.
Going into the next room, where Old Fu and the others were waiting, it was obvious that Pang De was very angry. As they saw him coming, they all stood up and bowed slightly as a sign of respect. Ignoring all of them he went directly to Old Fu, held him by the collar to move him closer to himself and said in a low hoarse voice, "Tell me everything."
Taking each of the witnesses to a separate room for a private interrogation, he got a full account of the incident. Though he had to break a few noses to get them to spill the real truth, even in a serious situation such as this, some are still trying to gain favor with his injured son by putting the entire blame on the other guy –but he knew his son.
The reason he needed the full, real account of the incident was because very few people would dare hit his son to this extent, Fewer still didn't know his son in the entire Azure Alliance. It might just be someone he doesn't want to mess with, even if it was for his son. Even in this situation he is very clear headed, the matter of all those years had taught him a very big lesson.
After the interrogation, he found the culprit, but he doesn't know of any fat man with a cat.
"Patriarch, I think I might have some information that might be helpful." An Elder came into the main hall as Pang De was about to set out with the grand elder and a few others to find and punish the culprit.
"Speak," Pang De answered impatiently.
"A few days ago, the Azure guards were looking for a fat, pot bellied man with a cat. You know they get their information from the likes of us, it is not unusual for them to be looking for someone…"
The Elder was interrupted by one of the senior elders "We know our dealings with the Azure guards."
" This time, it was one of the commanders and it was throughout the Azure Alliance, not just some designated villages. It was really big matter in Azure guards, in fact my contact said there was almost a fight between two commanders over this issue –i don't know how true that is." The Elder continued.
"Now that you say that, I did hear of something like that." Someone added.
"If it is the same person, he is either very important or very dangerous." Another mused
"Whichever it is, we will know when we get there. Either way we have the grand elder, as long as he is not very important. There are very few people that can defeat the grand elder." The patriarch said pointing to an old sitted man with a regal aura around him who has been quietly watching them.

In Jing Tu's office in the azure headquarters, he was arranging and packing his personal belongings from his office when a knock came at the door. After confirming the identity of the person at the door, he told her to come in.
"Commander, why are you already packing up?" Chi Xianyan asked, shocked. "He has not even accepted, and you don't even know if he will accept."
" There are too many variables." She continued.
"Chi Xianyan, you don't understand. This is the path –I can feel it. And if I am wrong, at least he can help get me to the Azure Sky kingdom, where I can find better opportunities. This place is too small for me... Or you." Jing Tu answered earnestly.
" Why are you so eager to go to Azure Sky kingdom, you would still be able to go in a few years when you enter heavenly origin or even Heavenly Core, with your talent it is not impossible, so why rush for a stranger?" Chi Xianyan asked afraid he is being a bit too rash.
See that she doesn't want to let it go, he told to sit to give her what might be her final lesson from him if she doesn't come along.
"First of all, were you not the one telling me about the peak of martial arts being your goal, blah blah blah. What changed?" Jing Tu asked.

"Oh, about that. I didn't want to say anything in front of the other officers, but it has something to do with condensing into lightning, I can't explain it but his beast does it when it comes down, from the peak he stays, to hunt. I don't know how strong it is, but it is definitely stronger than me." Jing Tu answered back.
"You mean the beast?. If it is stronger than you, how does it not sense your presence?. Also I saw his beast, is that little cat that scary?" Chi Xianyan asked suspiciously.
"Sense my presence" he laughed so much he almost fell from his chair. "It senses my presence all right. Sometimes, it makes eye contact" He said in the midst of his laughter.
"A beast that doesn't doesn't attack on sight." She said, a little annoyed that he was laughing so much.
"It just ignores me to hunt other beasts, I think it's an instruction from its master. I think we have diverted from what we were originally talking about… what were we talking about again?" Jing Tu said, finally calming down.
"We were talking about how you could go to the Azure Sky kingdom later, and there is no reason to rush things." Chi Xianyan answered, not wanting to talk about the pot-bellied man any longer.
"Let me fill you in on a few secrets that might let you understand my position better. And this goes without saying, they are to remain secret." Jing Tu said seriously.
"Naturally" she replied.
"One, since I assume you don't know how the Grand Commander became a Heavenly Core expert, I will tell you. You know I'm a little closer to the Grand Commander than the rest, so he told me that he had what you might call a fortuitous encounter. He saved an injured expert from the Azure Sky kingdom who came here looking for a special flower. I don't know the details, but as reward for saving him the expert gave the then initial stage Heavenly Origin Grand Commander a pill called Yang Nourishment pill or something. Again, I don't have all the details. Anyway that pill and some time in the secluded cultivation got us the Grand Commander we have today.
Which proves two things; first, that you can not break through the Heavenly Origin realm to the Heavenly Core in this shithole –and that includes the southern mountains. Which leads to my second observation: that if the Lightning God, or pot bellied man as you so colorful called him, is as strong as or stronger than the Grand Commander as I suspect, while being in the Southern Mountains, then he would most likely have a lot of those treasures." Jing Tu said in a low tone.
"Him being as strong as the Grand Commander is mere speculation and if what you say is true, what could an old fat man have to offer, judging by age and realm difference, the Grand commander is younger and has more potential. If you really want to go to the Azure Sky kingdom, the Grand Commander could take you." Chi Xianyan countered.
"I know you haven't met a lot of heavenly realm expert, but out of all the ones you have met which one of them is fat and has a pot bellied?" He inquired.
" Do you mean, it is a disguise or something?". Chi Xianyan asked back
" Not sure but what you just said leads to my next point; the Grand Commander can not take me to Azure Sky kingdom, because the Grand Commander can't go to
Azure Sky kingdom." Jing Tu said dramatically.
"WHAT!!" Chi Xianyan interrupted.
