The mirror's light pulsed one final time before dimming, signaling the end of Ethan's journey. Javier (Soul 3) froze motionless, watching with a heavy heart as the glow faded, his gaze unwavering. He exhaled softly, feeling the weight of his regret finally lift.
The Sorcerer stepped forward; his expression was unreadable. "Your soul has found peace," he said. "You may rest now."
Javier looked down at his hands, the blue glow around his coffin wrapping around him like a quiet reassurance. Turning toward it with no regrets, he cast one final glance at the mirror and whispered, "Thank you." As he turned, he felt a shift within himself. The light from his coffin, once orange, had now transformed into a serene blue."
As he lay down, the Soul Navigator slowly closed the lid, and the ritual room fell silent. The story had ended, but the justice Ethan fought for would live on. As Javier caught glimpses of the final scenes in the mirror, the image of Finnian's face came to him. "Finally," he murmured, "You've waited long enough. Justice is yours now." A calm settled over him, and for the first time, he felt the weight of his past begin to lift.
Ethan had just returned from Javier's story, the echoes of his journey still fresh in his mind.
The Sorcerer turned to Ethan, acknowledging his success. "You have brought peace to Soul 3 Story" he said. Ethan stood tall, proud of his role, but the journey was far from over. "You may rest now," the Sorcerer said calmly. "Your task here is complete, but there are more challenges ahead. Go back to your coffin until I call upon you again."
As Ethan walked towards his coffin, he glanced at Javier's coffin and thought, "Looks like my hunch was right. Once a soul is satisfied, its coffin turns orange to blue." If there was one thing he was sure of, it was this — "This whole ritual hinges on me bringing peace to these souls."
With every step toward his coffin, Ethan felt a mix of emotions. He was still suspicious of the Sorcerer and couldn't shake the doubt—would he truly be sent back to his story as promised? Some question lingered in his mind: why was Coffin 1 glowing bright blue, and why was its lid dark, the physical form not clearly visible? What was the Sorcerer hiding? More questions. No answers. But for now, he took a deep breath. He was relieved to have completed two tasks so far, yet he knew his journey was far from over.
He slowly approached his coffin, aware that more challenges awaited. Ethan closed his eyes, allowing himself to relax. The energy of the ritual room flowed through him, soothing his mental backlash and preparing him for the next task. With Ethan inside, the Soul Navigator gently closed the lid of his coffin. The ritual room grew quiet, with only the faint glow of the mirror reminded.
The Sorcerer turned back to the mirror, his focus shifting to the next story. Ethan had completed his role for now, but the journey was far from over. The ritual room awaited the next chapter.
