A buzzing sound came from behind Leo as the edge of the chains struck the laser. Leo also clenched his teeth, yet he couldn't control a painful groan as a small part of the laser also grazed his upper arm.
Timmy saw sparkles behind Leo, which were accompanied by a sharp sound of the laser cutting through the chains.
As the laser grids were so close to each other, it was almost impossible to cut through the chain cleanly without hurting himself.
The best Leo could do was minimize the damage to himself, playing with the distance and angles. Unfortunately, that wasn't a perfect solution either.
The laser burned through Leo's flesh, albeit a little less deep than it burned the chain. Still, the pain was so strong that Leo's face had gone almost pale.
Fortunately, the laser was very effective against the chains. The chains, albeit unbreakable with human strength, couldn't resist the lasers that could slice through the strongest metal blocks with ease.
