Trent finally exhaled, a sound that lasted a full ten seconds. "I think my soul just left my body and filed for a restraining order against you. Fortunately, they didn't punish me."
"Wouldn't they be too petty to punish you? Even if they did, I would have protected you. So don't worry too much about that."
Leo patted him on the back, then looked over at the Watchdog representative, who was staring at him with a gaze that could melt lead.
Leo didn't flinch. Instead, he smiled at the man and picked up his briefcase. "Come on, Trent. We have a company to run and a 'missing' brother to not find. Also, remind me to fire those lawyers. They didn't say a word, and I think one of them fell asleep during my 'pig brain' monologue."
