Chapter 15: Extended Education
The morning sunlight streamed into the room through a gap in the curtains.
Chris had been awake for a while now, but Trish was still fast asleep in his arms, and he didn't want to disturb her.
The young woman was exhausted from yesterday—suffering from the mental stress brought on by the Creeper during the day, and then thoroughly worn out by Chris at night.
Before dealing with the Creeper, he could deadlift four hundred pounds. That kind of core strength, when applied to more intimate activities, had driven this blonde beauty wild.
She hadn't slept all night until finally passing out around dawn, just two hours ago.
As for Chris, who had been active all night, he hadn't slept at all since yesterday.
But even so, he was still energized and not the least bit tired.
In fact, he felt better than ever before.
This certainly wasn't just the natural high from his first time. Chris could sense that there was something warm flowing through his body, constantly strengthening him.
It wasn't obvious last night, but as time passed, this energy became more and more noticeable, and now Chris could clearly feel it.
After Trish fell asleep, Chris thought carefully for a moment and focused on that white energy that had appeared after destroying the Creeper yesterday.
At the time, he hadn't felt any discomfort, and he'd just planned to investigate it when he got back to his own world.
But now he could feel his physical condition improving again, and it was happening so rapidly and inexplicably that it meant he had some kind of special ability he didn't fully understand yet.
This made it even more important to figure out what was happening to him—he needed to understand the changes in his body.
Chris lay on the bed quietly thinking, while gently stroking the back of his first intimate partner.
It wasn't until around noon that Trish finally woke up completely.
This girl really lived up to the stereotype of bold American women—without any shyness at all.
She was very satisfied with Chris, her first lover, finding him even more impressive than the stories she'd heard from her classmates and girlfriends.
He really was something else—a guy who could take down monsters apparently had superhuman stamina in other areas too.
His endurance was off the charts!
"Hey, you're awake. Want to grab some lunch? Or should we skip ahead to dinner?"
With just those simple questions, Chris noticed Trish's eyes light up. There was nothing else to say—time to give the lady what she wanted.
After all, he had plenty of energy to spare.
However, Trish was, after all, an ordinary person. Although Chris somehow seemed to energize her, she hadn't recovered from yesterday's exhaustion, and wasn't at her peak condition.
Therefore, after a few more rounds, Chris was still going strong, but Trish was so tired she didn't even have the strength to speak.
Seeing this, Chris checked the time. Only two hours had passed. This girl really couldn't keep up!
The hands-on lesson had to be cut short, but Chris was an eager student. Although he couldn't continue the full course, there were other ways to practice.
After another hour or so, Chris finally got up to take a shower in high spirits, while Trish rubbed her sore arms.
She glanced resentfully at Chris as he headed to the bathroom, but realizing that she'd chosen all this herself, she had no choice but to accept it.
However, she couldn't stay here tonight, or she might not have died at the hands of the Creeper, but would probably die from exhaustion at Chris's hands.
Thinking of this, Trish rolled over, picked up her phone, and called her younger brother, Darry.
As soon as the call connected, she heard Darry excitedly ask, "So? You're calling pretty late—I'm guessing things went well? Mom and Dad don't know where you are yet. I told them you went to see a friend. Don't blow your cover."
Last night, when Trish drove Darry home, he hadn't understood what his sister was planning at first, but he figured it out on the way.
So he didn't drive back to find them, not wanting to ruin his sister's plans.
And now that Trish was calling him, it naturally meant things were wrapped up, and he wanted to hear the details.
Listening to her brother's words, Trish said in a hoarse voice, "I know. Come pick me up now, and bring some cash. Grab some food on the way too."
After speaking, Trish hung up wearily, so that Darry wouldn't ask any more questions.
Hearing the dial tone, Darry didn't move immediately. He was surprised by his sister's raspy voice.
It wasn't until his mother asked, "Darry, who was that? Was it your sister?"
Hearing his mother's question, Darry snapped out of it and said, "Yeah, she wants me to pick her up now."
"Alright, then get going."
Regarding Trish's overnight absence, aside from his father being slightly annoyed, his mother seemed pleased about it.
After all, their family wasn't religious, and they were pretty open-minded about this sort of thing.
Especially since Darry had said Trish was with a friend, which made his mother even less worried.
Looking at his mother's knowing smile, she was obviously imagining future grandchildren. Darry shook his head and didn't think too much about it. Trish would explain things eventually anyway.
He drove to the motel, grabbed some pizza on the way, and then came to Chris's room.
Chris opened the door before Darry even knocked.
Looking at the surprised Darry, Chris took the pizza box and said as he grabbed a slice, "Your sister's in the shower. Thanks for the delivery, man."
Distracted by Chris, Darry no longer cared about how Chris had known it was him. He grabbed a slice of pizza and started eating.
At the same time, looking at Chris's fit physique, he exclaimed, "Damn, dude! How did you get that body? You look like a UFC fighter. And you're not all bulked up like those bodybuilder freaks."
Chris had originally been planning to hit a gym, so he'd naturally brought workout clothes to change into, but having just finished his shower, he was only wearing gym shorts.
Therefore, his muscular upper body was on full display in front of Darry.
It hadn't been obvious when he was dressed yesterday, but now Darry realized how built Chris was. His thick arms were bigger than Darry's own thighs even when relaxed.
But after looking for a moment, Darry was surprised that Chris didn't have visible abs, or rather, his abs weren't defined.
Darry's curiosity was noticed by Chris. He ate his pizza and explained, "It's called a powerlifter build. It's a body type that's really good for actual fighting. With this layer of core muscle, my ability to take hits is way stronger."
"Oh, cool!"
Seeing Darry buy the explanation completely, Chris felt like he'd wasted his backup excuses.
Of course he wanted visible abs! It's just that he hadn't been training long enough, and the original Chris had been pretty overweight.
That's why, although he'd quickly lost weight, he was still a bit short of having that shredded look.
But even so, he had to maintain his image.
