Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 The Three Who Broke Up

Chapter 6 The Three's Breakup

"What are you 'ha-ha' about? Your physique is too weak, incomparable to those power-attack type Soul Masters."

Lan Minghua glanced at Oscar, showing a hint of disdain for his physique.

As a support-type Soul Master, he had always been pampered.

Aside from running, he did almost no other physical training.

Flander's training of Oscar was mostly about escaping and survival.

Besides being fast, he wasn't much different from other support-type Soul Masters—still a weakling.

Oscar was speechless; Lan Minghua's words were true.

However, he wanted to become stronger, not wanting to always stay behind his companions.

"Then Master, how can I become as strong as a power-attack type Soul Master?"

Lan Minghua tossed "Indestructible Vajra" to Oscar. "Open it and take a look; the path to strength is in there."

Oscar didn't hesitate and immediately began reading "Indestructible Vajra."

Instantly, a flood of information rushed into his mind, and methods for cultivating Indestructible Vajra flashed through his thoughts.

As the pages were turned, the contents of the book "Indestructible Vajra" quickly disappeared.

Each manual was recorded in celestial script, and only one person could learn it.

If others wanted to learn it, Lan Minghua would have to rewrite it himself.

Those who learned the manuals relied on muscle memory and could not verbally express them.

Even if their souls were searched, they would not know the contents of the manuals.

Therefore, Lan Minghua confidently entrusted the manuals to his disciples, without worrying that they would reveal them without his permission.

One should not have the heart to harm others, but one must be wary of others; no one can guarantee that they will not be betrayed.

When he turned to the last page, Oscar finally snapped out of his reverie.

"What a powerful self-created soul skill! If I master it, my defense will probably be stronger than Teacher Zhao's!" Oscar was incredibly excited.

  "How about that? Impressive, right?"

"Impressive, absolutely amazing! Master, you're simply divine! To be able to create such a powerful soul skill is even stronger than the soul skill granted by a ten-thousand-year soul ring."

Seeing his excitement, Lan Minghua said dismissively, "Your physique is too weak right now. You don't even meet the most basic requirements for cultivating the 'Indestructible Vajra'."

Oscar looked dejected. "Master, how am I supposed to start cultivating?"

Lan Minghua stroked his chin thoughtfully for a long time before saying, "It's getting late. You should go back now. I'll tell you how to cultivate tomorrow."

Without giving Oscar a chance to ask, he gently pushed him out and closed the door behind him.

Oscar looked at the closed door, bowed deeply, and then left reluctantly.

Lan Minghua sensed Oscar's departure and began to create soul tools.

"Now that I've reached the pinnacle of Divine Machine Hundred Refinements, making the Gravity Sensing Bracelet and the Devouring Pouch should only take about an hour."

The Gravity Sensing Bracelet's purpose was to enhance Oscar's physique, so he wouldn't have to run around carrying stones like an idiot.

The Devouring Pouch was a space-type magic tool, given to Oscar as a gift. Even that good-for-nothing

Yu Xiaogang could give Tang San the gift of "Twenty-Four Bridges Under the Moonlit Night," how could he possibly be inferior to Yu Xiaogang? He

got right to work, burying himself in

his work. For materials, he'd just use the most basic substitutes.

After all, it was something hastily made, so the quality didn't need to be too high.

Oscar skipped back to his dorm, and as soon as he opened the door, a large hand grabbed his collar.

"Little Oscar, what are you doing going to that beggar?" The person grabbing his collar was Dai Mubai.

Fueled by Ma Hongjun's embellishments, his hatred for Lan Minghua was immense.

And after recovering, he felt his sexual prowess was far inferior to before.

"Boss Dai, I went to find him to become his disciple. Teacher Zhao personally said my master's strength is no weaker than the Dean's."

Oscar, oblivious to Dai Mubai's gloomy face, continued praising Lan Minghua's power.

Sure enough, upon hearing this, Dai Mubai trembled with anger, dragging Oscar heavily against the wall.

  "Oscar, you actually betrayed us!"

"Betrayed? What did I betray?!" Oscar was utterly bewildered.

He had only become Lan Minghua's apprentice, Shrek Academy's new teacher, how could that be betraying them?

"Hmph, he beat up Boss Dai and me in public, not giving us any face at all. You becoming his apprentice, isn't that betraying us?"

Ma Hongjun finally spoke, still taking things out of context.

Dai Mubai nodded slightly, agreeing with Ma Hongjun's words.     Oscar knew their personalities well and understood that Dai Mubai was bewitched by Ma Hongjun.

He immediately exposed them: "Fatty, don't you know why my teacher hit you?"

"You couldn't find Cuihua to vent your anger, and you didn't have the money to find someone to vent your anger on, so you just attacked people randomly."

"You were lucky to run into my teacher. If it had been any other Soul Saint, you'd be two meters old by now."

Oscar had returned early and noticed that Ma Hongjun hadn't suppressed his anger.

But this was normal, so he didn't interfere.

Although he had only met Lan Minghua two or three times, he knew that Lan Minghua wasn't the type to cause trouble.

On the contrary, Ma Hongjun, who had been instilled with the idea that "those who don't dare to cause trouble are mediocre," was the one who loved to cause trouble the most.

Even without witnessing what happened, Oscar could guess the gist of it.

After hearing this, Dai Mubai also came to his senses.

Although Lan Minghua had embarrassed him, he hadn't actually killed him.

They both knew what kind of person Ma Hongjun was, having spent so much time with him.

Troublemaker, stubborn, petty, and so on.

Who says Ma Hongjun is stupid? This Ma Hongjun is far too clever.

Dai Mubai stared at Ma Hongjun with a gloomy face and said coldly, "Fatty, explain yourself?"

Ma Hongjun hesitated for a long time without saying a word.

The gazes of the two men made him feel like he was being pricked by needles, and he couldn't help but roar.

"So what! Who told him to run into me? He's so strong, can't he give me a break?"

Hearing this, Dai Mubai and Oscar were speechless.

It's already merciful that someone so strong didn't kill you, okay?

Ma Hongjun didn't care and started to throw a tantrum.

"I don't care, I don't care. Oscar, you immediately sever your master-disciple relationship with him, otherwise you're no longer my brother."

Dai Mubai remained silent, unsure whether to agree or disagree.

He didn't have a good impression of Lan Minghua either, as he had made the young master of Soto City lose face so much today.

Oscar smiled self-deprecatingly, never expecting that his brother, with whom he spent every day, would sever ties with him over such a small matter.

Following Lan Minghua, he felt his future was bright, that he had found his path.

Dai Mubai spoke with extraordinary eloquence, clearly from a wealthy and powerful family.

Ma Hongjun had been treated like a son by Flander since childhood; it could be said that Shrek Academy's future was his.

Although he was also adopted by Flander as a child, as a support-type Soul Master, he clearly didn't hold a higher position in Flander's heart than Ma Hongjun.

The other two already had bright futures, while he was left alone and helpless.

Every time the three of them disagreed, it ended with him giving in.

Because he was a support-type Soul Master, weak in strength, and needed to rely on them.

Thinking of this, Oscar smiled self-deprecatingly.

Watching Ma Hongjun throw a tantrum, this time he didn't choose to compromise.

He also had to consider his own future, not worry about those worthless brotherhood ties.

"Fatty, since that's the case, let's each go our own way from now on."

With that, Oscar left without hesitation.

Ma Hongjun was dumbfounded, not expecting him to be so resolute.

However, he still believed that without their help, Oscar, a support-type Soul Master, wouldn't go far.

"He's really ungrateful. Wait until he suffers, then see how he begs to come back," Ma Hongjun added sarcastically.

Dai Mubai nodded; he didn't believe Lan Minghua could take Oscar very far.

Little did he know, the gap between them would widen at this moment.

On the dormitory rooftop, Lan Minghua appeared unnoticed.

Looking at Oscar's retreating figure, he said calmly,

"It seems my eldest disciple has a strong resolve to become stronger. In that case, I'll help you surpass them."
