Chapter 34 - Accompanying You

Cohen Phillips didn't wake up until noon.

Moving his limbs, he felt sore all over.

Memories of last night surfaced, bringing both embarrassment and anger.

He couldn't resist kicking the man beside him.

Beast! I even passed out!

"Awake?"

Baldur Morgan's voice was hoarse, his tone gentle and lingering.

"Are you uncomfortable anywhere?"

Cohen Phillips buried his face in Baldur's chest, tears welling up.

"Very uncomfortable!"

He coaxed softly, "I was wrong. Let me rub your back. Don't be angry, baby..."

Cohen Phillips pushed his hand away and struggled to sit up.

The amorous haze hadn't completely dissipated from between his brows.

His red-rimmed eyes glaring at Baldur felt more like flirting, evoking pity and endearment.

"You need to be more restrained in the future!"

Baldur Morgan's heart softened.

He pulled him back, lowered his head, and kissed his eyes, coaxing, "Okay, I'll be more restrained."

Cohen Phillips wasn't overly fussy.

He knew how to act coquettishly, and being coaxed a little, his small temper vanished.

He wrapped his arms around Baldur Morgan's waist.

"I'm hungry."

Baldur Morgan touched his face, got up, helped him get dressed, and carried him to the bathroom.

After washing up, he led him downstairs.

Downstairs, Kewa Morgan had just placed steaming hot dishes on the table.

Seeing them come down, she greeted them cheerfully.

"Young Master, Young Master Cohen, lunch is ready."

Baldur Morgan had texted her in the morning to come early and prepare lunch.

Cohen Phillips felt somewhat awkward and sat down stiffly.

Kewa Morgan went into the kitchen and brought out a bowl of thick soup, placing it in front of him.

"Last time, Dr. Nico Taft mentioned Young Master Cohen's health isn't great and needs nourishing. I specially made this soup today. Drink it while it's hot."

He curved his eyes into a smile.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome. Enjoy your meal."

After saying this, Kewa Morgan went into the kitchen to clean up, giving the young couple their privacy.

The two didn't speak, eating quietly, but the ambiguous atmosphere swirling between them was rich enough – the joy and satisfaction after completely closing the distance with the person they liked.

After eating and letting the food settle, Cohen Phillips's body still wasn't entirely comfortable, so he went back to the bedroom to nestle in bed.

Baldur Morgan went to the study to take a call and returned to find him lying face down on the pillow.

"Aren't you going to work today?"

Cohen asked.

Baldur Morgan sat on the edge of the bed and smoothed the messy strands of hair from his forehead.

"No. I'll accompany you."

His sparkling eyes blinked.

He reached out and scratched Baldur's thigh.

"Baby, my back still hurts..."

Baldur Morgan lifted the blanket and placed his large hand on Cohen's lower back.

"Let me rub it."

The firm but not too heavy pressure greatly alleviated the discomfort in his waist, making him squint with pleasure.

His lazily enjoying), appearance was like a little kitten.

Baldur Morgan couldn't help but curl the corners of his lips.

So adorable.

Cohen Phillips was almost lulled to sleep by the massage until the large hand slipped under his clothes and touched his skin.

He jolted awake, frowning and looking back.

"What are you doing?"

Even through the fabric, he could feel the softness of the waist.

Baldur Morgan, who had just tasted the pleasures of the flesh, soon found his mind wandering.

This hand... it just wasn't very controlled...

A dangerous aura gradually enveloped them.

Cohen Phillips turned over and glared at him in flustered annoyance.

"No!"

Baldur Morgan's Adam's apple bobbed.

His burning gaze shifted to Cohen's crimson lips.

"Baby..."

......

Beep beep beep...

The phone on the nightstand rang.

Baldur Morgan picked it up, saw the caller ID, and held it in front of Cohen Phillips, who was silently shedding tears.

"Be good, don't cry. It's Kerry."

Cohen Phillips somewhat stopped his tears and raised a hand to answer.

"Bro..."

"Huh?"

Kerry Phillips was puzzled.

"Why does your voice sound so hoarse? Do you have a cold?"

Tears silently streamed down again.

He said n a muffled voice, "A little."

Baldur Morgan his heart ached as he wiped away his tears.

Kerry Phillips wouldn't think of his brother in that unspeakable context.

He just assumed he'd caught a chill in the cold weather.

"Remember to take some medicine later."

"Oh..."

"My phone died and was off yesterday. I just saw Cade's message. Did he call you last night?"

As for why he only turned his phone on now to call his brother... well... he had a partner too, and his partner was quite... playful...

Cohen Phillips replied, "He did. Asked if we were coming back for dinner. I said we were busy."

"Alright, I know. I have a meeting to go to. Remember to take medicine."

Kerry Phillips paused, then suddenly asked in a deep voice, "You're at home, right?"

He didn't answer directly.

"Go to your meeting. I'm going to find medicine now. Bye."

"..."

Kerry Phillips listened to the dial tone and sighed.

Alright then, little brother is all grown up...

After Cohen Phillips put down the phone, Baldur Morgan gently kissed the corners of his eyes.

"Baby, I'm sorry."

Cohen Phillips bit down on Baldur's shoulder, leaving a not-too-deep, not-too-shallow mark.

He lifted his head, looking pitiful.

"Baldur, you need to be more restrained."

Baldur Morgan covered his eyes.

"When you're so tempting, it's very difficult."

"..."

When was I tempting?

Baldur Morgan, you beast!

Feeling his palm grow wet again, Baldur Morgan compromised and coaxed him.

"Okay, okay, okay. I'll try to be more restrained in the future. Be good, don't cry anymore..."
