Chapter 17 - The Burning Sky!

Three men in leather trench coats were standing at the entrance to Hogwarts.

Their clothes were exactly the same, all long leather trench coats over suits, like uniforms.

Gadwin said to the two Aurors beside him, "Be polite when you go in. The headmaster of Hogwarts is Albus Dumbledore!"

If he hadn't refused to work for the Ministry of Magic, he would certainly be ranked above me.

His strength goes without saying; there are few in the entire magical world who can rival him.

The two men beside him nodded. "Understood, Director!"

The three entered Hogwarts Castle and immediately saw a group of people walking towards them, led by Dumbledore.

Gadwin smiled when he saw Dumbledore greeting him with so many people.

It seems I, as the head of the Auror office, still hold some status, as Dumbledore personally led a group to greet me.

The two Aurors behind Gadwin were also surprised to see this, and then raised their heads, looking extremely arrogant.

"Headmaster Dumbledore!"

Gadwin greeted Dumbledore with a smile, but the smile immediately vanished.

Professor Snape pulled out his wand and held it in his hand, startling Gadwin and the other two.

The Auror behind Gadwin immediately drew his wand, but before he could move, Snape used his Magic Concentration.

"Expelliarmus, your weapon!"

Snape unleashed two spells that struck the wands of the two Aurors, sending them flying.

Gardwin's face darkened as he looked at Dumbledore and asked, "Headmaster Dumbledore, what does this mean?! Publicly attacking an Auror is a serious crime!"

Before Dumbledore could speak, Professor Snape scoffed, "Does an Auror have the right to trespass on private property? Who gave you the order to invade Hogwarts School!"

Invasion? Gadwin was taken aback, his brows furrowing.

"Is there something wrong with this? We didn't tell Hogwarts before we came, but we didn't intrude either!"

Professor McGonagall, seeing Gadwin's bewildered expression, didn't seem to be lying, but Snape immediately snapped:

"Still denying it! You Apparated directly into Hogwarts, who gave you such power!"

"By forcefully breaking the Anti-Apparition Charm and teleporting to Hogwarts, we can easily cripple you before handing you over to the Ministry of Magic."

How to powerfully break the Anti-Apparition Spell?

The three of them were completely dumbfounded. We didn't use Apparition!

"Uh, you guys must have misunderstood. We didn't Apparate here! We came through the Floo Network!"

This time, Dumbledore and his companions were dumbfounded. They hadn't used Apparition to get there, so how could the Anti-Apparition Charm be destroyed so easily?

Could it be that it's broken?

Professor McGonagall shook her head slightly and looked at Dumbledore.

"They definitely came through the Floo Network!"

Dumbledore glanced at Professor McGonagall and said to Gardwin:

"I'm so sorry, Aurors! I don't know what brings you to Hogwarts. As you can see, there's a little problem at Hogwarts that needs to be dealt with. If you're not in a hurry, please go to the common room to rest for a while."

Seeing Dumbledore's apologetic look, and remembering that he was one of the most powerful figures in the magical world, Gadwin didn't pursue the matter further.

"It's alright! Why don't I come with you? I'd like to see who dares to blatantly barge into Hogwarts!"

"It might be a dark mage; in that case, we Aurors will still need to be involved!"

Dumbledore nodded. His style of doing things was indeed like that of a dark wizard, but apart from Voldemort, which dark wizard would dare to break into Hogwarts alone?

Could it be that Voldemort has been resurrected?

Everyone's faces were solemn, except for Professor Quirrell, who was not worried at all, but rather curious about who dared to invade Hogwarts.

Such a courageous magician, we must recruit him into the Death Eaters.

Suddenly the air began to heat up, and the sky outside the window gradually turned red.

Everyone's gaze turned to the window; the sky had turned a deep red, as if flames were burning in the air.

The air itself seemed to distort, and waves of heat washed over us, causing the temperature inside the castle to rise by more than ten degrees.

The group hurriedly left the castle, only to discover that it wasn't just a fire in the sky, but a real fire burning.

As far as the eye could see, the sky was filled with flames. Fortunately, the flames were at a very high altitude, so they only raised the temperature of the ground and did not damage the buildings, plants, or trees.

The towering flames stretched for hundreds of kilometers, and the source of the flames seemed to be just above the forbidden forest ahead.

There was a red flame vortex several hundred meters in size above the Forbidden Forest, and there seemed to be a small black dot at the center of the flame vortex!
