Chapter 17 - Chapter 17 "THE CRWON OF MASAKA"

IDC HEADQUARTERS – SECTOR 349 – CHAMBER OF ORIGIN

The air itself hums with power.

Lifia stands in the center, human form glowing softly.

In her hands: twelve ancient scrolls, each bound in star-forged metal.

She hands the Water Scroll (indigo silk, silver seal) to David, Favour, and Emmanuella.

The Fire Scroll (crimson, roaring lion and ram and horse) to Prince, Ojo, and Tijani.

The Earth Scroll (deep green, bull sigil) to Gabriel.

Lifia's voice — gentle, but infinite:

"Where are the remaining five?"

Ojo shrugs.

"Two on Earth. One we just rescued (Libra). One still holding the North (Gemini twins)."

Lifia nods.

"I see....I will give you the remaining five scroll but first you must listen well".

These scrolls contain the original hand movements and signs used by Masaka, the first Zodiac King.

Master them, and you will fully connect to your constellation.

Your tattoos will spread.

Your true power will awaken."

She looks at the three who already glow.

"I hear three of you have begun the process."

Prince flexes — golden lion tattoos to his forearm.

Ojo smirks — crimson ram tattoos to his elbow.

Ojo (side-eyeing David):

"Yeah… but some people haven't even mastered water yet."

David (grinning, but veins popping):

"I mastered it enough to kill Skorn.

How many henchmen you killed again, Aries?"

Ojo steps forward — fire sparks.

"Say that again—"

Lifia raises one finger.

Room freezes.

"Anywaysss…"

She claps once.

DARKNESS FALLS.

Stars explode under their feet.

They float in the cosmos — galaxies swirling, constellations alive.

Lifia's voice echoes through the void:

"Let me show you the truth of Masaka… and why Kahos fears you."

ABUJA – IDC CAFETERIA – 09:45 A.M.

Aliyah sits alone, **belly round as a drum.

Empty plates: Amala mountain, ewedu lake, two whole chickens, fried rice, plantain tower.

She pats her stomach, satisfied sigh.

Agent Vision appears beside her table — silent as ever.

"Time for your trial, Libra."

Aliyah freezes mid-burp.

"…Trial?"

Vision's optic flashes.

"You want to be a Zodiac Warrior?

You gonna have to earn it."

Aliyah clutches her belly.

"But I just finished eating… now?!"

Agent Vision tilts his head, optic flickering.

"Then digest. Rest. Because very soon one of our warriors will train you."

Aliyah blinks.

"Warriors??"

Vision:

"Yes. Your sign is Libra, correct?"

Aliyah nods.

"Yes."

Vision:

"Good. Gemini will teach you full mastery of air."

Aliyah raises an eyebrow, flexing her fingers — faint Libra sign glows on her forearms.

"I already control air pretty well. I've even unlocked tattoos."

Vision's optic widens — genuine surprise.

"Really? Impressive."

SECTOR 349 – CHAMBER OF ORIGIN – SIMULTANEOUS

The cosmos beneath their feet shatters like glass.

A crown of pure starlight appears — spinning slowly, then EXPLODING into twelve radiant fragments.

Each fragment becomes a constellation — Aries, Taurus, Gemini… all the way to Pisces.

Lifia's voice fills the void:

"King Masaka's crown was shattered into twelve pieces.

Each piece carries the essence of a zodiac sign.

That is why you are the Zodiac Warriors.

Your mission: find the fragments, compete in the Tournament of Crowns, and crown a new Zodiac King, after you have defeated kahos that is"

David cuts in, eyes wide:

"Wait — what tournament?!"

Lifia smiles like a mother who forgot to mention dessert.

"Oh, did I not say? I will host it.

Warriors from every universe will compete."**

Prince throws his hands up.

"I thought Masaka was king of this universe, not the whole multiverse!"

Lifia waves a hand.

"The crown holds countless zodiac bloodlines across realities.

Only twelve fragments fell here.

That makes you the chosen of this universe."**

Gabriel scratches his head.

"So… the crown big like mountain?"

Lifia chuckles.

"Medium size, actually. Fits nicely on a head."

The cosmos darkens.

A new image forms — terrifying.

KAHOS.

Towering.

Body made of writhing anti-matter and dark energy — constantly shifting, almost untouchable.

Green piercing eyes that burn like venom.

Long, spiked tail whipping behind.

Humanoid stance, but wrong — too long limbs, too sharp angles.

Lifia's voice drops to a whisper that shakes stars:

"And this is why the crown must never fall into his hands.

Kahos wants every fragment… to remake reality into something, am not sure....but I will figure it out anyway"

The warriors stare, breathless.

David clenches his fists — purple tattoos flare.

"Then we find the pieces first."

Lifia smiles — proud, ancient, terrifying.

"That's the spirit, Scorpio.

The tournament begins… when you have found the twelve pieces and have defeated kahos"
