Auguro's words struck Lucci's mind like a bolt of thunder, leaving him dazed. He had genuinely believed that his title as the strongest CP9 agent in 800 years afforded him importance within the World Government. But what was the reality? They hadn't even given him a second thought!

A pawn...

Yes! If he wasn't a pawn, how could he have ended up in the hands of a good-for-nothing like Spandam!

After a long silence, Lucci stated darkly, "Even if that is true, the World Government has not betrayed me, and I will not betray the World Government! You might as well give up!" In the end, Lucci needed to preserve his last shred of dignity.

Ha! Hasn't betrayed you?

Auguro laughed. They haven't yet, but in the original timeline, Spandam sold out their entire squad, resulting in them being endlessly hunted by the World Government! In the eyes of the World Government, a bunch of true elites were less valuable than the incompetent Spandam!

"The World Government isn't trustworthy. If I were you, I'd be looking for a new sponsor right now," Auguro said meaningfully.

Lucci's heart stirred. Is this guy trying to recruit me?

However, the next second, Auguro stood up and walked toward the door. Lucci couldn't help but ask, "Aren't you going to ask about Nico Robin's whereabouts?"

Auguro gave a faint smile. "Where else would she be? Given that useless Spandam's brain, he must have had her transported to Enies Lobby (Judicial Island)!"

If he thought about it carefully, Robin would either be sent to Enies Lobby or temporarily detained by Lucci's group. Since Lucci was still safely at home, Robin had most likely been sent to Enies Lobby. Auguro had been too angry to think clearly before, but now that he had calmed down, he quickly figured it out.

"You intend to invade Enies Lobby?"

Lucci guessed Auguro's intention and thought the man must be insane. That was the World Government's direct court of law and the very symbol of its proclaimed justice! Invading Enies Lobby was a direct slap in the face to the World Government!

"Spandam dared to capture someone on my ship; he will naturally face the consequences!"

As the words left his mouth, Auguro suddenly turned around, his eyes filled with boundless killing intent.

"You can notify Spandam and tell that fool to prepare to pay for his sin with his life!"

After Auguro and the others left, Lucci pondered for a moment before laboriously taking out his backup Transponder Snail.

Buru buru.

After a short while, Spandam answered the call, instantly shouting in rage.

"Lucci, what the hell! Don't you know what time it is? If you don't have something important to say, you're going to pay for this!"

Lucci's face immediately turned cold. This incompetent fool wasted six years of my life!

Thus, Lucci was equally blunt. "Spandam, if I were you, I'd order Enies Lobby to prepare immediately!"

"'Noble Scion' Sith Auguro already knows we took Robin. He told me to inform you to prepare to pay for your sin with your life!"

"What?! H-h-h-how dare he! A mere pirate threatening me, the Commander of CP9! This is an absolute outrage!"

Spandam's eyes were practically spitting fire. It was the first time he had ever been threatened like this; it was a huge humiliation!

"Rob Lucci! You didn't manage to take down that lunatic, and you're relaying his threats? What good are you! Is this how the strongest agent in 800 years conducts business?"

Lucci was silent for a moment, then spoke the truth.

"I am not his opponent! His female subordinate in the white haori caught me in one move and critically injured me in two."

"I need to find a doctor to treat my wounds right now. You deal with this yourself! Don't actually let someone pay for their sin with your life! Commander Spandam!"

Lucci hung up the Transponder Snail before Spandam could reply. He had already heard the footsteps of neighbors approaching, likely drawn by the sound of the fight.

Shortly after, Lucci was taken to the hospital with the help of his neighbors.

At the Blue Station

Just as Auguro had suspected, Robin was being escorted onto the Sea Train here. This Sea Train line traveled directly to Enies Lobby.

"There's only one Sea Train on this line, the Puffing Tom. If you want to ride it, you'll have to wait until tomorrow!" The stationmaster shrugged.

"Soul King-sama, I'll go get the ship," Soi Fon offered.

Auguro shook his head.

"No, the ship is much slower than the Sea Train! By the time we arrive, Robin might have already been executed!"

Unlike the capture of Franky and others, CP9 needed to keep Franky alive to interrogate him about the Pluton blueprints. Robin, however, was not needed alive. Executing Robin was the greatest deterrent to those who dared to research the Void Century. Keeping her alive only increased the risk to the World Government.

"Then what should we do?" Nami asked anxiously.

Auguro looked in a certain direction within Water Seven.

"Perhaps we can find another Sea Train!"

Auguro led the group to the Galley-La Company and sought out the boss, Iceburg.

Iceburg actually didn't want to meet Auguro. But considering the man's 200 million Berry bounty and his aggressive attitude, Iceburg reluctantly agreed to the meeting.

"We need a Sea Train to go to Enies Lobby!" Auguro stated his purpose directly.

Iceburg shook his head.

"The Puffing Tom is the only Sea Train. Since my master Tom died, no one has been able to build another one!"

"No! I know for a fact there is a prototype, named the Rocketman!" Auguro insisted with conviction.

Iceburg was startled. Only the people who worked with Tom knew about this. How did Auguro hear about it?

Iceburg flatly refused.

"No! Although it's called a prototype, it's actually a failure! The Rocketman has no brakes. Driving that train is certain death!"

Auguro waved his hand dismissively.

"You don't need to worry about that! We have our ways of surviving!"

Are you kidding? Soul Reapers can fly! If he weren't worried about extreme weather conditions or the like over the sea, he could simply fly along the railway to Enies Lobby!

Iceburg still shook his head and refused.

"I apologize! That is my master's last relic in this world. I cannot allow it to be destroyed!"

No brakes meant that driving it could only end in a crash. Iceburg didn't want his master's relic to meet that fate.

Auguro began to grow slightly impatient. Why is this person so unyielding?

Suddenly, he remembered Lucci, and his tone changed.

"Very well, Mayor Iceburg, I will exchange a piece of intelligence for the Rocketman!"

"CP9 has infiltrated Water Seven to investigate the whereabouts of the Pluton blueprints. I can tell you the identities of these undercover agents in exchange for the Rocketman. How about it?"

At the mention of the Pluton blueprints, Iceburg's pupils contracted sharply. He then forced himself to remain calm.

"Pluton blueprints? We don't have anything like that here!"

Auguro had no time for evasions, growling, "Do you want me to literally tie Franky up and drag him in front of you before you'll hand over the Rocketman?"
