Chapter 254 - Death

The Greater Daemon, like a human tank, burst through the bookshelves and suddenly appeared before Incarnie.

The chilling killing intent emanating from the Greater Daemon did indeed startle Incarnie.

But then, realizing that he was now very close to his main body, his power was at its strongest, and he was covered by Asuryan's barrier, he knew that even a Chief Greater Daemon of the Four Gods or a daemon Primarch would not be able to break through his barrier immediately.

He mustered his courage, conjured a storm of whispers and Psyker fire, and charged towards the door of the Black Library behind the Greater Daemon.

Alexander, controlling the Greater Daemon, took a slight breath.

His throat began a faint, rhythmic pulsation, and intense pain surged through his vocal cords.

"Fus!!!!"

The first syllable erupted from's throat.

Everything around them vibrated with the Greater Daemon's voice, and a powerful sonic wave slammed into Incarnie.

Incarnie trembled, frozen in terror.

"Ro!!!"

The floor of the Black Library disintegrated, and the precious books turned to dust in the sound waves. The intense sonic impact hit Incarnie, causing the Eldar runes representing Asuryan on his body to flicker and waver constantly.

For some reason, Incarnie felt a sense of dread from the sonic waves emanating from the Greater Daemon's mouth.

He hastily accelerated, transforming into a dark blue shadow and rushing towards the Black Library's door.

Just reach there, just reach there...

"Dah!!!"

The final sonic wave erupted from the Greater Daemon's mouth.

Three complex and intricate sonic waves solidified in the void, directly distorting the fabric of reality.

This power contained no Warp energy; it was as if it directly issued commands to reality.

The moment the sound fell, blood seeped from the Greater Daemon's throat.

This was a Curse, the only Curse Alexander had mastered during this time, and the simplest one.

Its effect was...

In an instant, the Greater Daemon's body began to crack and disintegrate from the legs up, disappearing into the air like soap dissolving in water.

His thick legs, most of his torso, and one arm vanished with it, leaving only a remnant of his body hanging in mid-air.

Incarnie was startled by this sight, then became joyful.

He believed the Greater Daemon must have suffered a backlash from the Curse, causing his body to collapse.

He had to seize this opportunity and quickly escape the Black Library—

Incarnie's body suddenly lost balance. He widened his eyes, watching in disbelief as his legs, torso, and arms disintegrated with a buzzing sound. The sword of souls, vilith-zhar, dropped with a clatter onto the Black Library's floor.

His body lost control and he slammed to the ground, falling before the Black Library's door.

Incarnie, dragging a body that was identical to the's damaged parts, struggled to crawl towards the door.

This was the effect of the Curse Alexander had learned.

The name of this Curse was 'Shared Fate', which allowed the user and the enemy to suffer exactly the same damage, and this damage ignored any protective measures.

Alexander, controlling the Greater Daemon, took a deep breath.

Immediately, prayers and praises erupted from twenty-two cities on Macragge. The Doraemon theme song, used by Alexander as a hymn, echoed in the Greater Daemon's ears.

Faith is emotion, emotion stirs the tides of the Warp, and mighty power from the Empyrean surged into the Greater Daemon's body, repairing his body composed of Warp energy.

As a Warp daemon-like entity,, like other Greater daemons, could draw power from faith, emotions, and rituals to repair or strengthen his physical body in the material world.

The faith of an entire planet continuously poured in, and in just a few breaths, the Greater Daemon's body was restored to its original state.

This was also one of the Curse's drawbacks: the damage it caused could be repaired and healed.

In fact, Incarnie's body was also constantly being repaired by drawing power from Ynnead's main body, but the speed couldn't keep up with the Greater Daemon, who was performing the Doraemon ritual.

Another drawback of this Curse was that it only affected physical bodies. For example, Warp daemons would be affected after entering the material universe and acquiring a physical body, but it would have no effect if they did not possess a material body in the Warp.

The Greater Daemon, holding his club, reached Incarnie in a few strides.

Incarnie's torso had recovered slightly, and his arms had recovered to his forearms, as he struggled to crawl forward.

Seeing the Greater Daemon completely restored, Incarnie's expression turned to terror.

The Greater Daemon swung his club violently, and the club, burning with the Emperor's undying flame, slammed down, brutally breaking Incarnie's newly restored forearm and spine, then lifting him up.

Alexander's figure flickered, appearing beside the Greater Daemon. Incarnie's remnant body struggled in the Greater Daemon's hand, and countless whispers echoed in the void.

But Alexander directly controlled the Greater Daemon, stuffing Incarnie into the four-dimensional pocket, and also putting the old crone sword, "sword of souls, vilith-zhar," into the pocket.

The two combined were only about a hundred million, so Alexander didn't hesitate and directly chose to use them as materials for Children's Behavior Correction Re-education.

Incarnie's body and the sword of souls, vilith-zhar, instantly disintegrated within the four-dimensional pocket, gathering next to the threads formed by the Slaanesh Incarnie.

A dead, cold aura swirled around them, slowly beginning to take shape. After a moment, Incarnie's body was reassembled into a revolver that shimmered with dead silver light.

And next to the pistol, the sword of souls, vilith-zhar, transformed into a bone bullet brimming with the smell of gunpowder.

Alexander looked at the revolver and threads suspended in the four-dimensional pocket, his mouth twitching slightly.

How was this different from when he created?

Threads, a revolver... Damn...

Alexander vaguely thought of something, but before he could ponder further, he suddenly heard Cegorach's laughter and Ynnead's whispers outside the Black Library disappear.

Incarnie was the newborn Ynnead, the manifestation of Ynnead's remaining consciousness. With Incarnie devoured by Alexander's four-dimensional pocket, Ynnead's main body naturally lost consciousness, returning to a completely unborn state.

"Mey!! OV!! Lun!!"

"Nir!! Yah!! Zii!!"

"Gron!! kaal!!"

Suddenly, outside the Black Library, Cegorach's voice abruptly rang out.

This time, his voice was devoid of laughter, only a series of intricate sonic waves.

A Curse?!

Alexander was stunned; he recognized this Curse.

This was the third Curse recorded in Constantin Valdor's notes, and its effect was...

Before Alexander could think further, the Eldar Pantheon suddenly appeared before him.

The throne of the Eldar God of Death stood before him.

Cegorach looked at the re-slumbering Ynnead before him, chanting the Curse with all his might.

This was something Cegorach had planned long ago, or rather, this was why he demanded the hunt for Ynnead.

Humans were deeply bound to Alexander. Alexander's self-perception was that of a human, and a human god.

If possible, he would definitely save humanity; Cegorach was absolutely certain of this.

However, the Eldar's relationship with Alexander was too shallow; it was merely a simple cooperative relationship, with almost no binding.

The Eldar could very well betray Alexander; Cegorach knew too well what kind of temperament the Eldar possessed.

Fickleness and betrayal were the two things the Eldar excelled at, and Cegorach himself had suffered many backstabs from the Eldar.

But Alexander would not indulge the Eldar like Cegorach would.

Cegorach had to secure a future for the Eldar.

He wanted to completely tie the Eldar to Alexander's war chariot, making the Eldar and Alexander a true community of interests, making the Eldar... at least a portion of the Eldar, unable to betray Alexander, making that portion of the Eldar loyal followers of Alexander.

Alexander wasn't Khaine; he wouldn't abandon his followers, would he?

So, how exactly should this be done?

Cegorach pondered. The best way was to make Alexander also a god of the Eldar.

There were only two suitable positions for Alexander in the Eldar Pantheon.

One was Vaul, the God of the Forge, whose divine position aligned with Alexander's domain of Malicious Art.

The other was Ynnead, the God of Death, whose divine position aligned with Alexander's domain of erosion and destruction.

But the problem was that Vaul was still in Slaanesh's belly; this position of the God of the Forge was essentially forcibly occupied by Slaanesh.

Cegorach was left with only one choice: Ynnead, the God of Death.

He raised his voice, simultaneously exerting his authority and the power of the Curse.

The power of this Curse was to make similar causes lead to similar effects.

Alexander had put Incarnie into the four-dimensional pocket, devouring everything of Incarnie.

And Incarnie was the Incarnie of Ynnead, Ynnead's consciousness, so Incarnie was equivalent to Ynnead.

Alexander devouring Incarnie was equivalent to Alexander completely devouring Ynnead.

Everything of Ynnead dissolved into Alexander – past, authority, and divine position.

Cegorach saw the fate of the Eldar unfold before him, and he let out a playful laugh.

As his laughter and the Curse from his mouth rang out, the Eldar's predetermined past fate changed.

Many things that Ynnead had clearly done were replaced by Doraemon.

He silently arrived in the Eldar Pantheon, picked up the crown that once belonged to Asuryan from his own head, and stood beside Alexander.

"Your Majesty, it's getting cold."

"I, the jester, shall add a yellow robe for you."
