"So, what is the Warp essence of a Primarch?" Guilliman looked at Sanguinius and Alexander with a bewildered and confused expression.
His eyes were full of perplexity, as if he completely couldn't understand why a Primarch would be connected to the Warp, or why a Primarch's essence would be in the Warp.
Alexander and Sanguinius exchanged a glance, both with deep looks of difficulty.
The Warp is an idealistic world; everything about the Warp is linked to the reality of will.
Just as Mortarion himself strongly believes in numerology, so his own Warp power makes numerology effective in his hands, if a Primarch genuinely feels that he is completely unrelated to the Warp, then his own Warp power will truly isolate him from the Warp.
Of course, this should logically be impossible. Primarchs all possess strong Warp potential; their Warp part is as important as their flesh and blood part.
Logically, even the Primarchs least skilled in Psyker abilities should be able to instinctively mobilize their own power, just like Perturabo's innate knowledge, Konrad Curze's prophetic abilities, and Sanguinius' wings.
These abilities clearly exceed what their extraordinary genes could achieve, even surpassing the limitations of physical laws. Most Primarchs should have realized their non-material cosmic nature during their growth or long lives.
Even Mortarion only tried to explain this characteristic of his with numerology, rather than completely denying it.
But... perhaps due to Guilliman's education, Guilliman truly seemed completely unaware that he was connected to the Warp.
Alexander and Sanguinius silently exchanged ideas and decided to explain a little to Guilliman.
After all, the three of them should be a unified alliance, and most information should not be hidden from each other.
"The Emperor used his genetic sequence to create the genetic template for twenty-one Primarchs, and by editing these twenty-one templates, he created twenty-one supernaturally powerful sons."
"But mere material strength was not enough; the Emperor also needed to inject his sons with power from the Warp."
Alexander carefully chose his words, explaining the information he knew to Guilliman:
"Long before the Primarchs were truly born, the Emperor acquired twenty Warp presences in the Warp. These were unborn Primarchs, the power of twenty extraordinary spiritual domains."
"I'm not sure if our father truly knew the essence of those twenty powers," Sanguinius added softly, "They might have been the remnants of humanity's ancient gods, or old gods of other civilizations, or powerful beings born in the future, or even echoes of the emotions and wills of certain groups of people in the Warp."
"But no matter what the essence of those twenty Warp presences was, we were Warp-side existences before our birth. Then the Emperor used his genetic sequence to shape our physical bodies in the material universe, and the twenty worlds we scattered to further shaped us, making us inherit the values, thoughts, kindness, and even cruelty, distortion, and flaws of those who raised us, human or non-human."
Sanguinius slightly spread his arms, showing his almost perfect body to Guilliman:
"We were thus endowed with humanity; we were thus shaped into humans. But it cannot be denied that at a level deeper than the soul, at a conceptual level, we are from the Warp."
"Most of the time, we just unconsciously mobilize our power, trying to use instinct, superstition, and knowledge to utilize this inherent power. But if we can recognize our form before our birth in the material universe, and realize our duty and essence, we can manifest those true Warp-side existences beneath our human facade."
"So, did father forget me when he injected us with Warp power? Or did he intentionally omit me?" Guilliman said, pinching his chin.
"..Huh?" Sanguinius and Alexander simultaneously let out confused sounds.
"Isn't that right? We have twenty-one brothers, and father only absorbed twenty Warp presences. Clearly, one person was not injected with Warp components, only a pure material body."
Guilliman said in confusion:
"It's obvious that I'm the only Primarch who wasn't injected with Warp essence, which also explains why all of you have Psyker potential or other supernatural powers, and I don't."
".." Alexander blinked confusedly, then looked at Sanguinius.
Sanguinius also blinked, then looked confusedly at Alexander.
Neither of them followed Guilliman's train of thought.
The reason there were twenty Warp essences and twenty-one Primarchs was because the twentieth Primarch was a twin Primarch; Alpha and Omega shared one existence, not because the Emperor missed Guilliman.
Sanguinius silently looked at Guilliman in front of him.
From the perspective of the Warp, Guilliman in Sanguinius' eyes was a storm of blue and gold, roaring and possessing a certain sense of order.
He couldn't say exactly what it was, but there was no doubt that Guilliman was definitely not special; he also had a Warp essence like the other Primarchs.
Sanguinius slightly opened his mouth to explain, but Alexander spoke before him.
"Yes, yes, yes, you're right." Alexander nodded repeatedly at Guilliman, then gave Sanguinius a look, signaling him that there was no need to explain further.
How could this be explained? If this could be explained, then Perturabo wouldn't be so twisted, Konrad Curze's madness could be cured, and Angron's nails could be pulled out.
"Let's talk about Magnus' problem instead."
Sanguinius sighed and changed the subject, saying:
"Magnus' essence might be in Magnus' book, or it might be Magnus' book itself."
"There is no time in the Warp. In the material universe, Magnus wrote Magnus' book, but in the Warp, Magnus' book facilitated Magnus' birth."
"Everything in that book has been vivified, and those parts about Magnus' self have also been vivified. That is a more complete, more powerful, and more essential existence than the Magnus currently active in the Warp."
"If we can cause damage to Magnus' book, we might be able to injure Magnus' existence itself, or even prevent him from entering the real universe for a long time, like Fulgrim."
"Or, even better, we could sell Magnus to Alexander."
"How on earth did you discover all this?" Guilliman asked, frowning.
Alexander also cast a curious gaze, asking Sanguinius how he had discovered such an important matter.
Alexander even had a copy of Magnus' book. According to the four-dimensional pocket's appraisal, this copy and the main body of Magnus' book were interconnected. If he used certain tools, Alexander could truly enter Magnus' book directly and search for Magnus' Warp essence.
Sanguinius slowly recounted his brief skirmish with Magnus in the Warp.
"Could this be a trick of the Lord of Change?" Guilliman posed the question.
The process by which Sanguinius discovered the location of Magnus' Warp essence was too coincidental, as if the Lord of Change was waiting for him to discover it.
Alexander had a copy of "Magnus' book" taken from the Black Library, and just at the critical moment, he learned that "Magnus' book" concerned Magnus' Warp essence. Everything happened too smoothly.
It was hard not to suspect whether this was a trick woven by the Lord of Change, trying to lure Sanguinius, Alexander, and Guilliman into a trap to decipher that dangerous Magnus' book.
"It's very possible, but I'm almost certain that Magnus' book is Magnus' essence."
A faint smile crossed Sanguinius' lips as he said:
"But Tzeentch's tricks are constantly being consumed, while Doraemon's tools are endless."
"The history of humanity's third millennium has long been obscured by the Emperor, and even Tzeentch is unlikely to predict what kind of tools Alexander would have."
"I think it's worth a try."
Guilliman still frowned deeply.
He was not good at planning these matters while factoring in the influence of supernatural powers from the Warp, and his understanding of Doraemon's tools was far less than Sanguinius, who had already acquired the complete collection of "Doraemon" in the Warp.
"It's too reckless. Reaching Terra is more important than any other goal right now."
"You're afraid of being late again, like ten thousand years ago," Sanguinius said calmly, as if he had seen through Guilliman's deepest thoughts. "Opportunities like this are precious. I think it's worth a try."
".."
Alexander, standing silently beside them, reached into his four-dimensional pocket:
"Ta-da! Truth and Falsehood Divination Machine!"
A red circle and a blue cross were taken out of the four-dimensional pocket by Alexander.
"Why are you arguing! Why don't you ask my wonderful tools?"
Alexander pointed to the Truth and Falsehood Divination Machine on the table and said.
"Magnus' Warp essence is Magnus' book." Alexander directly asked the Truth and Falsehood Divination Machine in front of him.
The red circle jumped up abruptly, flickered a few times in the air, confirming that what Alexander said was correct.
It really is, Alexander's eyes flickered slightly. If it was truly Tzeentch's conspiracy, then this bait was too tempting.
Then Alexander looked at Sanguinius and Guilliman.
"What are you looking at?"
Alexander said with a smile:
"Hurry up and each write a detailed plan for my Truth and Falsehood Divination Machine to judge!"
Upon hearing this, Sanguinius looked at Guilliman with a bit of resentment: "Sure enough, being with you means you can't escape overtime."
