"Kung fu? What's that?" Wildmutt scratched its head in confusion.
As if tired of waiting, Bonk Choy made the first move.
He leapt into the air, clenched his fist, and drove it straight at Wildmutt.
The fierce punch actually blasted out a ring of compressed air mid-swing, its force shockingly powerful.
Wildmutt had no time to dodge. It raised its claws and met the attack head-on.
Boom!
Wildmutt let out a low growl as its body was sent flying backward at high speed. It smashed through the kitchen wall and rolled hard across the damp soil outside.
Bonk Choy remained where he stood, fists moving as he unleashed a flashy sequence of strikes. At last, he drew in a deep breath and slowly withdrew his stance.
If he could talk, he'd probably be spouting some over-the-top heroic line right about now.
Nearly two meters tall, Bonk Choy's strength was nothing to scoff at. A single punch from him could easily kill a bull.
Wildmutt had been careless just now. It hadn't gathered its strength and had only raised its claws in haste, which was why it had been knocked back so easily.
Seeing Wildmutt sent flying, Grandpa Max's expression changed. He was about to rush forward to check on it—
But Bonk Choy flashed and appeared behind him.
A light punch was all it took to knock Grandpa Max unconscious.
Bonk Choy then tossed the unconscious Grandpa Max toward several Mushroom Zombies.
"Hiss!"
Excitement and madness flickered in the Mushroom Zombies' eerie vertical pupils.
One of them picked Grandpa Max up, scurried off on its short legs, and headed deep into the forest.
The remaining Mushroom Zombies followed closely behind, disappearing into the dark woods.
"Roar!"
With an enraged howl, Wildmutt sprang forward. Its claws carved deep gouges into the ground as it prepared to give chase.
Bonk Choy gave a cold snort and spread his arms, blocking Wildmutt's path.
Thud. Thud.
A towering tree-like figure slowly stepped out of the forest. Its face looked ancient and weathered, and it exuded a terrifying presence.
Wildmutt lifted its head and stared at the massive shadow that blotted out the sky, its teeth grinding together.
This monstrous tree creature was at least over ten meters tall.
One slap from it could probably flatten a house.
Watching Grandpa being carried away, Wildmutt no longer cared about the odds.
Even if it couldn't win, it would fight.
With a furious roar, Wildmutt lunged at Bonk Choy, its sharp claws flashing.
Bonk Choy clenched his sandbag-sized fists and began throwing punches wildly, creating dense afterimages in front of him.
In a single second, he threw at least ten punches.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
Each heavy blow landed squarely on Wildmutt's body, producing dull, solid impacts.
Wildmutt gritted its teeth and endured the barrage, forcing its way through Bonk Choy's relentless assault.
Then it lashed out with a claw and sliced open Bonk Choy's head.
Bonk Choy's sturdy frame trembled. His fists gradually slowed, then stopped.
With a heavy thud, he collapsed onto the cold ground and lay still.
"Moo!"
The towering tree creature let out a roar like a wild bull.
It stepped forward with its massive body and raised a foot as large as a small hill. Carried by a terrifying gust of wind, it slowly brought it down.
Wildmutt showed no fear. With a furious howl, it charged straight at it...
...
Deep within the dark forest.
Buzzshock hovered in midair, glancing at the frost-covered surroundings and giving a slight shake of his head.
That Ice-shroom had just unleashed a final, desperate strike.
Self-destruction.
Centered on the Ice-shroom, a frost shockwave had erupted, covering a ten-meter radius.
Within that range, everything—soil, ground, tree bark—was coated in a layer of bone-chilling white frost.
Under the moonlight, it glittered like crystal.
Fortunately, he had been fast enough to escape the frost's range in time and avoided being caught in it.
Boom!
A thunderous explosion echoed from afar.
Buzzshock turned toward the sound. "That's… the direction of the camp!"
Earlier, the camp had been attacked by Peashooters, forcing him to intervene and deal with the source.
Otherwise, the entire restaurant would have been destroyed. The peas those Peashooters fired were nearly as powerful as bombs.
Whoosh!
A sharp gust of wind suddenly struck from behind.
Buzzshock instinctively dodged to the side.
In the next instant, a massive watermelon came hurtling past him from behind, barely missing his body.
You've got to be kidding.
Even this thing is here?
Buzzshock paused for a split second before turning around.
In the shadowy forest, a Streetlamp stood quietly ahead, glowing brightly like a torch in the darkness.
Beside it was a mutated watermelon plant.
The emerald-green fruit had pitch-black eyes. Leafy limbs extended from below, allowing it to move.
Attached to its back was a container holding a huge watermelon, gently swaying.
It looked just like an ancient catapult.
"Melon-pult..." Buzzshock muttered.
The Melon-pult launched its attack. The watermelon behind it shot forward violently.
Boom!
The rocket-like melon tore through the air and slammed down with tremendous force.
Buzzshock raised his hand, releasing surging electric energy that crackled wildly.
Then, going all out, he fired a thick cyan beam.
He didn't dare underestimate it.
Even the Peashooters had formidable firepower. The Melon-pult was on an entirely different level—a true heavyweight.
Boom!
The violent electric beam shattered the incoming watermelon.
Chunks of red flesh and strips of green rind scattered across the grass.
Buzzshock burst through the spreading "blood mist" and charged toward the Melon-pult at lightning speed...
