Chapter 41 - JOURNEY TO HONEYMOON

The evening air was still warm as the final toasts from the wedding faded into the night. Isabella still wore her gown, slightly rumpled from the day, her hair softly tousled. She was exhausted, yet her heart raced with a mix of excitement, nerves, and anticipation.

"Elisabella," Elijah said quietly, appearing at her side, "there's one more surprise for you tonight."

Her eyes widened. "Another one? Tonight? But… it's already been… incredible."

He gave her a small, teasing smile. "You think the day is over? No. We're leaving — right now."

Before she could protest, he took her hand and led her to the waiting private jet on the mansion grounds. Isabella's jaw dropped as she approached it. The sleek, luxurious plane gleamed under the moonlight.

"Is this… really ours?" she whispered, awe and disbelief mixing in her voice.

"For the next few days, yes," Elijah replied, his dark eyes sparkling with mischief. "Just you and me. No obligations, no guests, no interruptions. Just us."

Once aboard, Isabella settled into the plush leather seats, her gaze taking in the elegant interior. Elijah leaned back beside her, brushing her hand gently with his fingers.

"So," he said, voice soft, "we have a whole night ahead, and then the flight to paradise. What do you want from this journey? From us?"

Isabella hesitated, her heart pounding. "I… I just want to be with you. I don't want to think about obligations or duties. I want to… just… us."

Elijah's gaze softened, his thumb tracing circles on the back of her hand. "Then that's exactly what we'll do. We'll figure it out together. No pressure. No expectations. Just us discovering what this life could be."

The jet lifted into the night sky, the city lights fading beneath them. Isabella leaned against Elijah, feeling the familiar warmth of his body and the quiet steadiness of his presence. They spoke about their future — hopes, dreams, even small plans for the days to come — and Isabella felt the tension of the wedding day begin to melt away.

Hours later, the plane descended over the Hawaiian coastline. The ocean sparkled under the moonlight, waves gently breaking against the shore. Elijah carried Isabella effortlessly from the jet to the vacation house he had prepared — a cozy, elegant retreat overlooking the water. She laughed softly, her heart swelling with affection and surprise, as he set her down.

"You're going to love this," he murmured, pulling her close. "It's all for us."

Isabella looked around the house, the balcony overlooking the ocean, the gentle sound of waves filling the night. Her heart raced, a mixture of awe and gratitude. This night, this moment, was theirs — completely and utterly theirs.

Later, as they sat together on the balcony, the cool Hawaiian breeze brushing against their skin, their conversation turned to their plans, their hopes, and the life they would build together. Every glance, every brush of fingers, every quiet laugh deepened the connection that had begun in the mansion but was now blossoming fully in this private paradise.

Elijah held her close, the warmth of his embrace grounding her. Isabella leaned into him, heart fluttering, and realized with a mixture of excitement and wonder that she was falling — truly, undeniably — for the man beside her.

And as the stars shimmered above, she knew that this was only the beginning of a journey that belonged entirely to them.
