(Some years ago in a lab somewhere)
Knock*knock*knock
"Hmmm? Who could it be" A familiar scrawny man in a white coat murmured
Knock*knock*knock*
*The knocking intensifies
"Come in" The scrawny man spoke
The door opens and a man built like a super soldier walked in, he was wearing a black suit with a red tie. "Hello doctor"
The suited man came inside and went to the seat opposite the doctor. "Mhm and who am I talking to?" Asked the doctor
The suited man responded "My name is irrelevant but you can call me director"
"Mysterious ehh, alright so why would you want to see me" The doctor questioned with a brow raised
"To put it simply i need your help" The Director responded
"Help with?" The doctor countered with a question
"You see from a young age I have always despised being controlled, being told what to do. From my birth I have had my life dictated for me, every choice already decided. Every decision already made.
Why you ask, Because I wasn't born into a normal family no, I wasn't even born into a family. I was created. In a lab. I was made as an attempt to push humanity beyond it's perceived limits. A human couldn't puch through concrete, I can. A human can't outrun a cheetah, I can. A human can't think as fast as an Ai, I can. I was made to be humanity's first step to evolution, I was made to be the superior human."
"Okay, while I appreciate the story that doesn't answer my question" the doctor interrupted
"I was getting there" The director said bluntly
"But despite all that power, I had no control over my life. Even if normal bullets won't hurt me, a higher caliber one still would. Even if I can regenerate organs, I need to be alive to heal. Yes I was a stronger human but I was ultimately just that, human there was still tons of things that can kill me.
So after my escape, I have made a promise to myself. To never be at the mercy of someone else. So doctor I need you to help me fulfill my promise, I need you to help me create an ability that will never let me be at the mercy of anything. So tell me will you help me?" The Director said with resolve
"Touching story, but sure I'm bored anyways might aswell help you become a god" The doctor responded with a smirk
