Chapter 7 - The Laws of the Sheep Keep

You must not lie — for the truth will echo and haunt you until you cannot sleep.

.

You must not flee — for the fence remembers who you chose to be, someone who condemns the truth and hurts virtues.

.

You must not speak — unless it's words you silenced when living and spitting insults.

.

You must lament — for every harm you deemed as justified because the majority believed.

.

You must not blame — for blame is the language of cowards and kings.

.

You must behold my eyes — and see both the light and the darkness I bring ---- life is ying and yang: not purely good or evil. For one's life cannot live without both. Believing the easy story or what makes someone sound better does not help you foresee the evils of life.
