He was not the only one having trouble standing up. The journalist already looked half-dead.

Cane recognized the NPC as soon as he saw the message and also recalled the reason he had not remembered until now.
He had only undertaken one quest with Lloyd, but that one quest had ended up scaring him badly enough to never want to see this NPC again.
