My voice rang out sharp and clear across the seating arrangement, carrying farther than I had intended.
One might have wondered why I was so quick to agree.
After all, I already possessed more knowledge than most existences in the verse ever would.
However My knowledge was uneven at some instances, riddled with gaps, inconvenient blanks where the author had been vague, careless, or simply silent.
Details glossed over.
Threads left dangling.
Concepts hinted at and never returned to.
And filling those gaps was the so-called Voice of Existence, masquerading as an all-knowing system, at least within the narrow boundaries it was allowed to operate in.
...But that was exactly the problem.
I knew things that should not be known.
Stories that should have been forgotten long ago.
Concepts that most beings did not even believe could exist. And sooner or later, I was going to stand before figures who would notice.
