Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

--- Third Person POV ---

Inside the fortress Chaos Breaker, Perugius Dola, the Armored Dragon King, sat upon his lavish throne, radiating a charisma unlike anything Rudeus Greyrat and his party from the Magic City of Sharia had ever witnessed.

On each side of his throne stood twelve men and women at attention. Clad in white robes, each bore a unique mask concealing their face.

They were the 12 familiars of Perugius.

Rudeus and his party stood beneath the steps right in front of Perugius.

His party consisted of his long-lost childhood friend and now wife, Sylphiette Greyrat; Ariel Anemoi Asura, the princess of the Asura Kingdom; Luke Notos Greyrat, an attended of Ariel; Zanoba Shirone, the third prince of Shirone Kingdom; Cliff Grimoire; Elinalise Dragonroad and, of course, the one who had orchestrated their audience with Perugius — Nanahoshi Shizuka.

"Next, and you?"

Lord Perugius spoke, tilting his head toward Rudeus Greyrat moments after finishing his conversation with Ariel Anemoi Asura.

Rudeus felt a bit nervous as Lord Perugius turned his attention toward him.

Placing a hand on his chest, he halted his words before they even left his mouth, seeing the sudden shocked expression on Lord Perugius' face, an expression he had not seen once on the man since coming here.

Perugius Dola had equipped his sky fortress, the Chaos Breaker, with numerous defensive seals—some designed specifically to detect any foreign presence within its walls.

So sensing a sudden presence at the front of the gate, shocked him a bit.

"Arumanfi, go confront this intruder." Perugius ordered.

Arumanfi, heeding his lord's command, bowed before teleporting away.

...

Back to the current situation.

Gojo simply smirked, his arrogance as high as ever, prompting Arumanfi to teleport in front of him.

Raising his hand, he punched toward Gojo's stomach, but to his utter shock, his clenched fist froze mid-air before it could even make contact.

Gojo's Cursed Technique, Infinity, ensured that anything approaching him would slow down the closer it got — exponentially decelerating in the space between him and the object.

This meant that Arumanfi's punch would have to travel an infinite distance in a finite space. Rendering the attack completely useless.

Seeing the masked man's feeble attempt, Gojo grabbed his arm with his left hand and delivered a solid punch to his face with his right, sending the familiar reeling backward.

Before Arumanfi could steady himself, Gojo teleported behind him and delivered a powerful kick to the back of his neck.

Arumanfi was once again sent reeling on the ground.

Gojo teleported in front of Arumanfi once more, ready to deliver another powerful kick—but before his foot could connect, the familiar vanished in a flash of light, teleporting away.

Catching his breath a few 10s of meters away from Gojo, Arumanfi tried to figure out how the boy could block his attack.

Worst of all he sensed absolutely no mana coming from the boy, which puzzled him even further.

'He can even teleport!' he thought, trying to piece together how Gojo was doing what he was doing.

His thoughts were interrupted as he saw the white-haired boy once again teleported in front of him.

Arumanfi tried to teleport away, but before he could, Gojo grabbed his left hand and struck his stomach using his palm.

Blood coughed out of Arumanfi's mouth, covered by his mask.

Without releasing Arumanfi's left hand, Gojo grinned, "There's still more!" He drove a series of palm strikes into the familiar's stomach before finishing with a sharp kick to the liver, sending Arumanfi flying back.

Arumanfi crashed to the ground a few meters away, landing flat on his back with his arms sprawled out—completely unconscious.

The fight—or if one could even call it that—didn't last a minute. Arumanfi of the Bright, a being said to rival even emperor-ranked swordsmen and famed for his incredible speed, was taken down effortlessly.

But of course against someone as great as Satoru Gojo, his speed meant nothing.

"Seriously? Couldn't even last a single damn minute?" Gojo chuckled, shaking his head. "Guess I had my expectations a bit too high for this world." his victory fueling his ego even further.

Bending down, Gojo hovered his hand above the familiar, keeping him afloat with his left hand by using cursed technique lapse: blue.

Looking back at the fortress gates, Gojo smirked before effortlessly teleporting himself—and the unconscious Arumanfi—inside the fortress walls.

Appearing out of thin air in the grand hall of the fortress, Gojo strolled casually toward the room where the girl from his world was located.

Noticing the intricate designs and paintings on the walls along the way, Gojo soon stood before a massive door — one he could only assume would lead to a grand hall.

"Well, time to make a grand entrance" with a smirk on his face, Gojo kicked the doors wide open.

"Attention everybody!" Gojo shouted loudly, his cheerful voice reverberating through every corner of the hall.

The sudden entry of Satoru Gojo had garnered the attention of every person in the hall.

All eyes were on Gojo as he strolled in, carrying an unconscious Arumanfi.

Perugius was stunned by the audacity of the human before him. The sheer disrespect of barging into his fortress uninvited was infuriating enough—but seeing the unconscious Arumanfi dangling in the man's grip ignited his fury even further.

But Perugius didn't voice out his complains, as he was curious as to what the man wanted to achieve by coming here.

His familiars beside him instantly released their bloodlust toward the intruder. "How dare you trespass upon Lord Perugius' domain uninvited—and even dare to harm one of his familiars?" Sylvaril of the Void spat, her tone sharp with venom.

The bloodlust from the familiars, increased the tension in the group that only came here to meet Perugius.

Gojo, unfazed by the shouts and killing intent aimed his way, casually strolled toward his target, releasing the unconscious familiar from his grasp in the process.

"You're quite lucky you know, if I wasn't passing by at that time, then you, along with your boyfriend would have been dead already" Gojo spoke in Japanese, a smirk on his face as he stood before the girl.

"Well, aren't you gonna thank me for saving you from that truck?" Gojo said, his expression changing to that of a teasing grin.

Nanahoshi Shizuka stood frozen, her eyes wide as disbelief washed over her. The white-haired boy before her spoke in Japanese—a sound she had only heard from one other person in this world. "How… how are you—" she stammered, her voice trembling as her mind struggled to process it all.

Seeing the familiar white-haired boy before her, she was instantly reminded of the day she was displaced—a day forever burned into her memory, no matter how hard she tried to forget.

She remembered arguing with her boyfriend, Shinohara Akito, in the middle of the crosswalk—then the boy standing before her now had appeared out of nowhere, saving them from being run over by a truck.

Before being summoned into this world—about 6 or 7 years ago—she'd spent all that time desperately searching for a way back home.

Countless questions flooded her mind, but instead of blurting them out, she took a deep breath and composed herself.

"My name is Nanahoshi Shizuka, and thank you for saving me and my boyfriend from that truck." She replied to him, ending her sentence with a short bow.

Gojo sighed at the girls attitude, he wanted to tease the girl a bit but seeing the girl gain her composure, it probably wouldn't be as fun anymore.

"yeah yeah anyway, the name's Gojo Satoru," he said, standing a few steps away from her.

"You've got quite the crew here," Gojo said, his gaze sweeping over the gathered group, momentarily staying over Rudeus Greyrat.
