As soon as she finished speaking, a clear "gurgle—gurgle" sound suddenly echoed in the room.
Everyone froze.
Vivian herself was shocked.
She had been listening intently, completely forgetting the time, and hadn't eaten anything since noon. Her stomach was already empty.
Wendy's smile at the corner of her mouth stiffened slightly.
Tristan's eyebrows furrowed almost imperceptibly.
Even the other client representative sitting across couldn't help but lower his head and cover his mouth.
Vivian lowered her head, her face turning scarlet all the way to her ears.
She wished the ground would split open right then and there to swallow her whole.
"Sorry," Tristan finally spoke again, "I only discuss business matters. I don't participate in personal gatherings during other times."
After speaking, he stood up and indicated that the meeting was over.
"Okay... then I'll be going first."
