As Zeros walked down the street, he couldn't help but think of the three people he had just met at the tavern entrance.
Of the three, the short-haired girl's sweet smile flashed through his mind first, followed by the image of the girl dressed as a delinquent.
With the same hair color and the shared magical aura within them, the three should have awakened the same type of magic, suggesting they are likely siblings.
Although Zeros sensed the magical fluctuations within the three, the only one who truly caught his attention was the girl dressed as a delinquent. Her magical fluctuations were far stronger than the other two; in fact, she was arguably the most powerful mage he had ever encountered.

Zeros's eyes flickered slightly as he recalled an issue of a magic weekly he had once read, which described a magical genius whose appearance bore a striking resemblance to this person.

A loud, piercing cry echoed from the mountains.
Then came a gigantic blue wolf, more than three times the size of an ordinary wolf, its eyes gleaming with ferocity as it stared at the black-robed youth in front of it.
Even more strangely, the surface of this giant blue wolf was crackling with extremely violent purple lightning, clearly indicating that it was another mutated monster.
The black-robed youth was Zeros. His eyes were cold, and he held a knife in one hand. The knife was not drawn from its sheath, and the sheath was completely black, simple and unadorned. This knife was none other than the peerless sword - Crimson Lotus.

With a low shout, Zeros's figure rushed towards the wolf formed by lightning like a phantom. Almost simultaneously, a dazzling blade of light flashed across the sky, tearing as if even the void itself was being ripped apart.
Then, the wolf-shaped lightning suddenly stopped high in the sky, and the electric arcs jumping on its body also came to an abrupt end, then vanished and disappeared. Under Zeros's slash that reached the limit of speed, even lightning, which is known for its ferocity among the elements, could not escape returning to nothingness.
After the first strike, Zeros's figure did not stop. The dazzling blade light continued its momentum. Under the terrified gaze of the blue giant wolf, the blade light struck down, killing it on the spot.
Even in death, the giant blue wolf never saw the trace of Zeros's attack, because the speed of her attack was simply too fast.
With a whoosh, Zeros beckoned with one hand, and a piece of black cloth appeared in his hand. He casually rolled it up and completely wrapped the Absolute Blade in it, then carried it on his back.
After completing this series of actions, he turned his gaze to his prey and whispered, "Eat wolf meat tonight!"
