"What a coincidence, Naomi-san," Fei-yu laughed nervously, pretending he didn't hear her tease.
"Hehe, quite a coincidence indeed," Naomi Odagiri smiled. She wore thin white silk gloves and used her pinky to twirl a strand of her purple hair. Naomi let out a melodious, bell-like laugh. "I wouldn't ask my little brother to do something like that." Her face was flushed like a ripe peach. "I have a book launch the day after tomorrow. I want you to accompany me."
"A book launch? You're publishing already?" Fei-yu was surprised. "No problem! I'll be there." He assumed he'd be acting as a sort of bodyguard.
Naomi was visibly happy. She wanted him there because he was the inspiration for the book, and she also wanted to help him build connections for the future. She knew she was older than him, and even if he promised her eternal youth, she wanted to ensure he had a solid future even if she eventually left him.
"Since you've finished the novel, do I get the honor of being the first to read it?" Fei-yu asked with a grin. He just wanted an excuse to get inside her apartment. It had been too long since they had sex, and he was aching for her.
