Synopsis: With the location of the points gained, Daryl & Masato went to the points to prove themselves worthy. What will their new forms look like? How will they prove themselves worthy of the Shrine's Power?
Embarking towards a dark mysterious tunnel leads to a bunch of surrounding yet illogical answers. The 6 fighters met with Professor Menjo and explained everything. The challenges. The breaking in. Even the locations they seek for. And now with their wish granted, the Ace of Studies and Sports are now going to prepare to venture their next step.
OP: Undead.
Continuing the morning as usual, Hou & Garga eat their cereal for breakfast in silence and boredom all over their expressions. Hou's Mother then comes in like no big deal, going on like she doesn't care.
Hou's Mother: Make sure you do your chores later. Just because you have no school today because it's weekend, doesn't mean you get to laze around and play video games.
Hou: {Emotionless} Yes Ma.
Hou's Mother: I don't care whether you're tired or not. You still need to work because this is your house too. And I'm not your Maid.
But Hou & Garga did not respond as they continue to eat their cereal. This made Hou's Mother slightly angry.
Hou's Mother: Don't you ignore Me. Did you even hear what I said? Unbelievable, Kids these days. So disrespectful. Always focusing on their own things instead of their surroundings and...
Hou: (Interrupts) Thanks for Breakfast.
Hou's Mother: Huh?
Garga: Yes. It was good.
Hou's Mother: Wh...Wha???
The two then gets up and leave the dining room. His Mother watches them leave while thinking "What's going on with the two?" with worry. They head back to Hou's Room and Hou lies down on his bed.
Hou: I do not have the mood to deal with her. I want to yell but that will be disrespectful.
Garga: Are you still tired after what happened yesterday?
Hou: Correction. It was Today. Midnight so to speak. And yes. We had to deepy-do-do just to find answers. And the nerve to go full radio at sunrise? (Sigh)
Garga: Can you even blame her? She had no idea what we did last night. Though you do have a point. Even I find it bothersome.
Hou: (Gets Up) Anyways, the thing Professor Menjo said to us earlier...do you think it's true?
Garga: He's not the type to lie when he explained to us the Origins of Buddyfight. So yes, I believe it's true.
Hou: Okay. I trust you. (yawn) We'll figure more out later. We better get some chores done.
Garga nods in agreement. But then suddenly, Hou's Mother burst into his room.
Hou's Mother: WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING SLACKING OFF? I TOLD YOU TO DO YOUR CHORES.
But to her surprise, they are doing chores with Hou cleaning his table and Garga dusting the curtains. Silence fills the room as suddenly there's a "Pong" Sound. And the two are being sarcastic as they stop and look at the lady standing at the door.
Hou: Can we help you?
Garga: Sorry, Ms Teng. You were saying?
Hou's Mother is incredibly surprised as she stands there looking shocked and completely white as a ghost....
Hou's Mother: I'm not even that angry. Relax.
Scene Transition. And thus, the two sweep the floors in the living room. While at it, they're listening to some TV. And Coincidentally, Kei is there with a female news reporter as she holds the mic while speaking.
Reporter: So tell me, Mr Jingunji. I've heard you're remodeling Helping Hands Academy into something new. Is that right? (moves the mic)
Kei: Indeed. This rebranding project of mine has been a long time coming. And let's just say, it's a buddyfighter's dream come true.
Reporter: (Moves Back) Interesting. What makes you say that?
Kei: World Buddy Academia. It's more than just a school for all Buddyfighters. It's more than just rebranding and expansion. It is a place where all fighters can come together and experience new possibilities. Take A Look.
Kei then shows a few pictures on a screen of what the Academia would be like after it's renovation. There are multiple buildings aligning with each other with it's logo in the center. The facilities consists of brand-new Techy Classrooms, Dorms, Halls, Jungles, even a state of the art Virtual Environment Area??? Everyone's surprised.
Hou: IT HAS VR???
Garga: How much is the School's Budget???
Reporter: Incredible!!!
Kei: Indeed it is. This is where all of our fighters can enhance their skills. Knowledge. Playstyles. Athletics. You name it. And we're doing it..
While Kei continues his speech on TV, Hou & Garga watches it live while having their conversation of their own as they sweep the floor.
Kei: ...Not just in lessons, but in activities too that will make you a World-Class Fighter.
Hou: That President Jinguji knows how to give a speech.
Garga: Can't say I don't agree.
Hou: Although, in order to get in, we have pass the entrance exam. (ponders) Why do I feel like it's more than just Buddyfights.
Garga: I'm with you on that one. I don't think it will be that simple. As they say "Looks can be deceiving". Or rather..."Words can be deceiving".
Reporter: So how long will it be complete? And do people just enter with ease?
Kei: It will be done in 2 more weeks. Any buddyfighter can enter except...there is a catch.
Reporter: A catch?
Kei: To enter, you need to complete an entrance exam. It won't be easy and you might wonder what will the Test consist of. You'll have to see for yourself and I promise you, it will be exciting. But remember, time is limited. So sign up now while you still can.

While it goes on, Suddenly, Hou's Phone Rings from his pocket, to which he picks up in curiosity.
Hou: Hello....Yeah I did...{Confused} Okay?
A few hours later, All three Aces along with their buddies meets up at a park table. Hou & Garga are quite surprised of what Masato & Daryl requests of them.
Hou: You want our Advice?
Garga: On How to Prove yourselves worthy on the Points?
Daryl: Since you & Garga have done it before, we figured that you can be our guide on how to evolve Cross & Agito.
Masato: Please Hou. Tell us how you do it. We'll even cook for you if we have to.
Hou: {Awkward Smile} Uh...That's not necessary...and...(scratches his head) I don't think I can give much though...
Masato: {Confused} Huh? What do you mean? Your Shrine activated, did it not?
Garga: What Hou's trying to say is that while our shrine activated and we did prove ourselves worthy, we had no idea how we triggered it. It's like there's a mysterious wire that made us trip unknowingly & triggered the trap.
Agito: Oh...
Cross: That's quite a pickle...
Daryl: Well...can you at least remember what you did before the big moment?
Hou: (Ponders) Hmm...If I'm not mistaken...
Flashback of what happened in Episode 3.
Hou: I sort of asked Gao & the Commissioner how to be like them....Garga translated to it saying of my wish of being "universal".
Garga: It's true. You want to surpass your limits and be able to do anything. And that's when Gao gave us that very piece of advice.
Gao (Past) & Hou: Keep your head up high just like you did in the playoffs. Believe in yourself and all of your dreams will come true.
Hou: And then a few more pointers and then Garga said he wants to help me out.
Garga: To which he accepts and that's when the Shrine itself activates & I evolved.
Flashback end & everyone else just go "Whoa..." with their eyes quite amazed.
Hou: I believe the moment I mentioned my wish and then the two of us partnering up is sort of what triggered the shrine. Gao did mention that we need to be true buddies so...
Daryl: A wish huh? (crosses his arms, ponders) Hmmm... I never have any desires of my own before.
Masato follows suit and ponders too.
Masato: Me neither...
Garga: That's something only you four can answer. And you must have a loyal connection with one another in order to gain what you seek. Speaking of which, I would advice one thing.
All: Huh?
Garga: Should you want to evolve, I suggest you be honest with yourself with why you want to evolve. Greed for power is not something to laugh at.
All: {Surprised} Garga...
Masato: In other words...no power hungry?
Garga: Yes. (To Hou, sternly) That goes for you too. Just because I've evolved doesn't mean you have the right to bully or be treated as a king or whatever.
Hou: {Stubborn} I know that, relax. I wasn't born yesterday. (To his friends) Anyways, so you'll be heading off soon I guess?
Daryl: (Nods) Yep. Cross and I are going to a forest in Bukit Gasing tomorrow.
Masato: And Agito and I will be going to one of the caves in Tasik Cermin, also tomorrow might I add.
Hou: Cool. Then perhaps...Good luck. And I can't wait to see your new powers.
Masato: Thanks Hou. You too Garga.
Daryl: Well then...see you guys next week.
Everyone else nods, and they leave the park. However, unbeknownst to them is that someone has been watching them secretly behind a tree. The next day, as such, Daryl & Masato travel on separate buses to their locations. Daryl is wearing his usual outfit, while Masato wears a short-sleeve version of his usual outfit.
Agito: I'm surprised you decided to wear something new for the occasion.
Masato: It's a water cave and it's outside, so I have to wear what's what to prevent some heat.
Agito: Yet your long-sleeve tracksuit says otherwise during weekends.
Masato: {Pouty} (Crosses his arms) Whatevs.
The trip goes for a few hours as the Bus travels through highways and certain places. Both Aces are seeing the beautiful scenery of mountains outside of their windows in smiles, side by side, simultaneously. Soon enough, they made it to their designated locations. At Bukit Gasing, the trees are very tall. It towers the height of a house. Daryl & Cross witness the sight in awe. Meanwhile, at Tasik Cermin, the two are at a port and also witness a sight in awe. The lake is very green, and the mountains beside it are very large and tall. It's filled with small trees & vines attached to it.
And thus, both sides travel towards their points. Daryl & Cross travel on the rocky grounds of Earth while Masato & Agito travel via boat on the open green waters. Bit by bit, slowly and slowly, the journey is quite slow & rough as they have to carry their bag of supplies behind them. But eventually, both sides reached some certain parts.
Currently, Masato's side is inside a cave as he holds out a torch to see what's in the dark.
Masato: Lucky Daryl's not here.
Agito: Yep...(sigh) Alright. Let's go.
Masato, who suddenly changed to swimming gear, preps his goggles and is ready to dive. And Agito himself just gets into Goggles and that's it. They put their gear somewhere hidden in this cave, might I add.
Masato: Yeah.
And thus, the two dive into the water. Meanwhile, Daryl's side is in a region of the forest and in front of a giant stone??? The trees behind it are blocking something. The stone has some unknown inscriptions on it. 3 lines and some stone rollers attached under it. The two are feeling awkward.
Daryl: Masato's really lucky, isn't he?
Cross: He isn't here, seeing what we're seeing, that's for sure.
Daryl: But what do these inscriptions mean?
Cross: Hmmm....As I thought...Buddy Jargon. An ancient Buddyfight Language that's been forgotten for centuries. You can say it's "Old Tongue" in earth terms.
Daryl: Well, what does it say?
Cross: (Looks at it) To go towards what you seek, your heart must be bleak. Yet alone cannot be sleek, for together, they are unique. Interesting?
Daryl: Another riddle...And I would assume that those stone rollers are like keys. Hmmm...
The rollers reveal different symbols. One represents a heart. Another represents two hands. And the third represents a scale??? Daryl attempts to roll the first one, and it reveals the same scale as the third one.
Daryl: They're all the same. Meaning it needs to be in order.
Cross: Or it could mean something. Hmm...
Meanwhile, Masato & Agito are swimming away frightenedly from a bunch of sharks who are chasing them at high speed??? They can't speak since they have their mouths covered, but they are really frightened.
Masato: [WHY ARE THERE SHARKS HERE? PROFESSOR'S MENJO BOOK DIDN'T MENTION THIS. ]
Agito: [I JUST WANNA GO HOME.]
Back to Daryl's Side.
Cross: Towards what you seek...this means the Shrine...And your heart must be bleak...bleak means Open.
Daryl: Yet alone cannot be sleek...sleek means smooth. And the last one says Unique. But...if not sleek, then how is it unique?
Back to Masato's. They are still being chased by Sharks, much to their horror.
Masato: [COME ON...JUST GO AWAY ALREADY. I'M SO TIRED...]
Agito: [Ugh...]
Back to Daryl's.
Cross: Hmmm...it did say alone cannot be sleek. Meaning one person...is not smooth perhaps.
Daryl: Could be...smooth means perfect and...
They both realize something in shock.
Daryl: I get it now. It's not just my heart, but yours too. After all, our hearts need to be open with one another so that we can accept each other. That's why it says bleak.
Cross: Alone cannot be sleek, meaning neither of us alone is perfect. But together...
Both: WE ARE UNIQUE.
Daryl: Of course. Just like Hou's Shrine, we need to prove ourselves as true buddies. And Garga mentioned that we need to be honest, no matter what.
Cross: In that case, let's give it a try.
While Cross & Daryl move the rollers to solve the riddle, Masato & Agito continue to swim. Exactly 5 seconds later, simultaneously, the riddle is solved & the trees move themselves like an automatic door and reveal the shrine behind it while Masato & Agito swim up to find their shrine of their own shrine too. Both shrines are similar to the ones Hou encountered in Mount Kinabalu. And as expected, everyone's shocked.
All: THERE IT IS.
The Earth that surrounds Masato's Shrine is really sturdy and attached to one another. The same for the trees that surround Daryl's Shrine, as if no enemy can pass through them.
Masato & Agito get out of the water and walk towards their shrine. Above it shines the bright sky through a massive hole that lightens the monument. Daryl & Cross also walk towards their shrine, and the sun also shines bright above it. Both sides step on it and think back on what their wish is. They remember Garga's Words to them, and they open their eyes and become stern. They grip their right hand towards their chest.
Daryl: I want to be someone who pursues the best of Knowledge there is. So that I can help Mankind by any means necessary.
Masato: I want to be able to give myself a hard challenge, so that I can become stronger and help others in need.
Daryl: No matter how vast. No matter how long.
Masato: No matter how tough. No matter how tiring.
Both: I want to keep going till the end.
Cross: And as his buddy...
Agito: I vow to myself....
Both: To Help Make his wish come true.
Daryl & Cross: For We...
Masato & Agito: Are Buddies.
All: WE...ARE TOGETHER AS ONE.
Suddenly, both Shrines glow. As promised, Cross & Agito receive great power as they, too, glow bright and float high in the sky. Daryl & Masato are shocked. Both monsters immediately transform into their new forms in gold. And their names...
Cross: (Appears) I...am Skyseer Ardent Dragon, Cross Irisnese Astrologia!!!
Agito: (Appears) Thunderpeak Spiral Linkaxe....King Agito!!!! (Roars)
Agito's Roar really creates a massive gust of wind, nearly blowing Masato away as he blocks with his right arm. Both Daryl & Masato are astonished!!!
Cross: Daryl Hoshino...
Agito: Masato Rikuo...
Daryl: Cross...
Masato: Agito...
Everyone stares at each other with smiles. Daryl & Masato lay out their right hands towards them, to which their buddies accept and take their hands, and everything slowly fades white.
The next week arrives, and all three Aces met up in the same park with their buddies. Everyone's in smiles as they stare at each other & Daryl & Masato reveal their new powers in card form. Hou's surprised first, but then he smiles and only has one thing to say.
Hou: Well then...Let's Buddyfight!!!
