The understanding of the cosmic cultivation paths settled in Angat's soul not as new knowledge, but as ancient wisdom stirring from a long slumber. He saw it now the unifying truth.
Whether through the chakra-awakening of the body, the soul-forging of the mind, or the reality-weaving of Tantra, all paths were merely different rivers, fed by unique springs, yet all flowing with relentless purpose toward the same ocean. That state of ultimate consciousness some called Nirvana, and others knew as Moksha.
This philosophical reverie was gently interrupted as they arrived at their destination: a vast, serene plaza within the administrative department. Here, streams of golden light converged into orderly, pulsing queues. They approached a floating desk fashioned from solidified moonlight, shimmering with elegant, flowing script: "New Agent Registration."
"Time to make it official, Vatsa," Narad announced, his fingers already dancing across the holographic form that materialized before him.
Angat watched, fascinated, as Narad began inputting details on his behalf. But his fascination soon curdled into puzzled concern as unexpected text flickered on the form.
Previous Soul data: ... error...
Physical Status: ...error...
Significant Karmic Attachments (Home Universe): not found... error....
Latent Karmic Debts: 0
Notable Soul Purity Index: 89% (Above Average)
"Narad Ji!" Angat whispered, his brow furrowed. "What does this mean? It's showing errors!"
The celestial clerk - a serene being of shimmering light with multiple arms gracefully manipulating several interfaces paused, its luminous form flickering with confusion at the system anomaly.
Before the clerk could speak, Narad offered a knowing smile and, with a flick of his wrist, forwarded a discrete packet of data. The form instantly updated, the fields stabilizing with the correct information:
Previous Soul data: Angat Sharma
Physical Status: Unconfirmed.
Significant Karmic Attachments (Home Universe): 3 (Parents&sister)
Latent Karmic Debts: 14 (Minor).
Notable Soul Purity Index: 89% (Above Average).
Narad didn't look up from the form, though a sly smile played on his lips. "Do not be surprised, Vatsa. The public system only has access to surface-level data. I downloaded your complete soul-dataset during our first meeting through my Kalchakra OS terminal. It's standard celestial procedure for a direct recruit. But due to your anomaly it's showing errors .Soon, you'll have similar, though more limited, access to perceive the karmic profiles of others. Unless,"
he added with a meaningful glance, "someone has higher divine authority - what you might call a 'golden finger' from a more powerful deity. Then their file will simply show 'Access Denied.' The cosmos has its hierarchy, after all."
Just then, the clerk floated a crystalline slate toward Angat. "Biometric Imprint for Soul-System Sync, please."
Angat hesitated, eyeing the strange device warily.
"Perfectly safe, Vatsa," Narad reassured him. "This registers your unique spiritual signature into the divine mainframe. Without it, any mission to another realm would flag you as a 'foreign body,' and the local reality might... unceremoniously expel you. Quite unpleasant. Besides," Narad winked, "you need an account to get paid. We call it Divine Credits, or DC. Even enlightenment requires funding."
As Angat placed his palm on the slate, a warm, tingling sensation spread through him, mapping the very essence of his soul. His curiosity peaked. "What does your profile look like, Narad Ji?"
"Ah, eager to see the specs of a senior model?" Narad chuckled, retrieving his divine tablet...a slab of etched moonlight. He tapped it and handed it to Angat. "A preview of what you might one day achieve."
Angat took the tablet, his eyes widening as he read the data that glowed with an imposing, golden light:
Account Name: Sage Narad
Title: Celestial Messenger, Son of the Creator, The Divine Informant (a.k.a. Gossip God)
Authority Level: SS
Powers: ******** [DATA HIDDEN - ACCESS DENIED]
Mission Priority: S+ (Kalchakra OS v3.0)
Divine Privilege Tier: 🌟🌟🌟⭐(3.5)
ID No.: ************015
Awe washed over Angat. The SS Authority, the S+ Priority..it spoke of power and standing beyond his comprehension. But then his eyes snagged on the third title, and a completely different emotion bubbled up. He tried to suppress it, a snort of laughter escaping as a choked cough, his shoulders shaking with the effort.
Narad sighed with infinite, fond resignation. "Yes, yes. The third title. Let us not dwell."
"But... 'Gossip God'?" Angat managed, his voice strained.
"Do not mind it," Narad said, waving a dismissive hand that wasn't entirely convincing. "It was a... birthday gift from Maa Parvati. A jest that Maa Lakshmi and Maa Saraswati found utterly delightful. They made it official. And when the Tridevi decide on something, Vatsa, even the Big Three can only nod and agree."
He leaned in closer, a look of mock conspiracy on his face. "I pleaded with Mother to at least let me hide it. She made it specially inaccessible to deletion. A permanent, divine prank. One does not argue with the Mother of the Universe."
The clerk, having finished with Angat's imprint, gave a serene nod. "Registration complete. Awaiting system installation and tool assignment. Please proceed to the next area for your nano-divine system and holo-assistant."
As they moved on, Angat groaned. "Ugh, more lines? Can't we get everything in one place?"
"Vatsa," Narad said patiently, "Lord Brahma designed this for system efficiency, not user-friendliness. You will get accustomed to it."
They navigated through the bustling administrative hall, and Angat's senses were overwhelmed by the sheer variety of beings. He saw entities of crystalline light, figures with skin like bark and leaves, and towering giants whose footsteps echoed softly. It was a living tapestry of the multiverse.
"Narad Ji," Angat began, his voice full of wonder, "I have a question. Here, I witness countless races. But why is Earth so isolated, having just humans? We have stories - UFOs, the Yeti, Chinese dragons, Western vampires and werewolves. Do they all exist?"
Narad nodded, his expression turning scholarly. "A profound question, Vatsa. You must understand that human thought and belief are forces more powerful than you know. Creatures like dragons and giants are very real and existed before your own yug but they were erased from the world due to unstable factors such as hunting or environment anomalies , with histories spanning eons and universes. But others, like your Dracula or werewolves... they are not native to your realm. Their existence is due to a subtle data glitch in the cosmic fabric ...kernels of truth from other pantheons cross-pollinating with human consciousness through dreams and inspirations. So, your observation is astute, and wholly correct."
And vatsa you might get to meet them in future as your role will take you to other patheneons sometimes you have to confront them sometimes they might be your allies..
" Woahh then the elves and the dwarfs and the goblins and the centaurs must be real tooo...." Asked angat expectingly
Narad replied " of course , vatsa they are some of the famous races across the multiverse."
Angat was delighted to hear the news and was looking forward to meeting some of them .
After a moment of walking in contemplative silence, Angat spoke again, his gaze tracing the flawless, radiant beings around them. "Narad Ji, I've also noticed something else. Everyone here is... beautiful. Perfect. On Earth, we have all kinds of forms. Is this the direct result of karma? Like our sages said:
'प्रत्येक कर्म का फल अवश्य मिलता है।
कर्मों का यह लेखा-जोखा इतना सूक्ष्म है कि
कभी तो वर्तमान जन्म में ही फल प्राप्त हो जाता है,
और कभी अगले जन्म की प्रतीक्षा करनी पड़ती है।'
(The fruit of every action is inevitably received. This accounting of karma is so meticulous, so profound, that its consequences may ripen in this very birth, or await their season in a life yet to come.)"
Narad's eyes sparkled with deep approval. "You are thinking rightly, Vatsa. Karma is the cornerstone of existence, the loom upon which all reality is woven. The beauty you see here reflects souls refined through countless cycles of striving."
But remember....he added, his voice softening, "true beauty lies not in flawless features, but in a karma purified through righteous living. Your Earth's magnificent, messy diversity....that is karma in its glorious, unfolding journey. Every scar, every smile, every struggle is a verse in a soul's epic poem home."
A profound silence fell within Angat. He understood, then. His old life had ended. He was now an agent of karma itself. He knew the title, he was beginning to understand the mechanics, but the true weight of the path ahead its solemn duty, its hidden sacrifices, its quiet wisdom remained a mystery his soul had only just begun to unravel.
