We arrived at Saki's house. Mana seemed tired. So did I. I planned to sleep as soon as we got there, but Saki's state chased away any drowsiness immediately.
Saki was in the living room, wrapped in a blanket. Her eyes were red and swollen; it looked like she'd been crying a lot. I got worried. I went straight to her and hugged her.
"Saki, what's wrong? Are you okay?"
She trembled and tried to pull away, but when she heard my voice, she hugged me tightly while sobbing. I let her calm down while consoling her, stroking her back and repeating that everything was fine, that she was safe now.
When she stopped crying, she told me what had happened: she felt lonely, went out, and had the encounter with the tattooed guys.
I got angry.
I hadn't messed with them, but they tried to hurt my Saki? I wasn't going to let it slide. They'd pay dearly.
But it also made me realize something. Even though I'd prevented Saki and Mana from ending up like in their original stories, the world was still dangerous. Mana seemed to have some degree of self-defense, but Saki was very innocent.
Without meaning to, my mind thought of Moño. Saya must know how to take care of herself in this world, right? Though it sounded rude, I thought she'd already suffered through all this. And therefore, she'd know how to avoid certain situations.
Coletas could also be a good option. Though she dedicated herself to fucking in alleys, it didn't seem like she did it due to blackmail or abuse. She knew how to navigate the streets. At least she seemed to know how to avoid dangerous situations.
I also thought about buying them some tasers or knives. Personally, I preferred knives; I had practice with them. But I wasn't sure if they were suitable for a girl.
After assuring Saki not to worry, I started thinking about how to deal with those guys and anyone who tried to harm them.
Sleepiness returned. I was pretty tired.
I picked Saki up in my arms and called Mana. We went up to the bedroom.
Even though it was already morning, we were all exhausted. We fell asleep as soon as we touched the comforter.
I woke up. It seemed like several hours had passed. The sun outside the window was starting to set. I was hungry. Mana must be too. I didn't know if Saki had eaten anything before, but I assumed not. So I decided to cook them something nice. It was a good way to make them feel better.
Carefully, I tried to get out of bed. But it seemed impossible. Both were hugging my body. Getting out without waking them seemed difficult.
I stroked their backs, trying to wake them. My hands, unintentionally, reached their butts. Though I hadn't planned that, I didn't hold back. I caressed them, kneading and groping.
Both let out a small moan. But they didn't wake up; they just clung closer to me.
I started getting turned on.
I sighed.
It wasn't time for that; I had to cook. I gave them a pinch on the buttocks. Both gave a little jump and opened their eyes. They weren't asleep.
They both looked at me a bit annoyed. I just kissed them and got up.
In the kitchen, I checked what I could prepare. Sadly, the fridge seemed empty. I'd have to get something. Luckily, now I had money. Though maybe I should count how much I'd managed to earn, including tips.
I emptied everything from my pockets. Besides the wad of bills given by Saya, I had several loose bills, a couple of rings and necklaces, and several drugs.
I was surprised by the amount of pills, syringes, and sprays. How many of these things did the officer have? This time, he even explained in detail what was there: sleeping pills, aphrodisiacs, and even truly addictive drugs. This time they seemed like really illegal substances, which scared me a bit. I didn't want to end up in prison.
However, I didn't get rid of all of them, at least not immediately, except for the addictive ones. Those sounded dangerous. I took those pills and flushed them down the toilet. I kept the rest; they might be useful at some point.
After counting everything, I told Saki and Mana that I was going out to buy groceries. Both offered to come with me, but I decided to go alone. They accepted reluctantly and went back to bed.
With money in my pocket, I headed to the nearby konbini. I hoped to find ingredients for a carbonara.
Saki didn't move. She felt tired, not just physically. The other girl seemed the same. They didn't have energy even to fight. And though ironic, Saki felt calmer having her nearby. At least she wasn't alone.
She clicked her tongue. Saki didn't want to think like that. That girl had inserted herself between Noa and her. And she was annoying. At least she was until she went out with Noa yesterday. Today she seemed different.
Even when she clung crying to Noa, she didn't mock her. She seemed quieter.
Saki observed her. Her face was just a few centimeters away. Without Noa in between, it was the first time both looked each other in the face. At least without insults or mockery involved.
Looking into her eyes, she noticed some sadness. Saki didn't understand why. Nor did she understand why she came back with Noa. Wasn't she supposed to just take him and then go home?
Though she didn't want to speak to her, she did.
"Hey, shouldn't you have gone back to your house? Why are you still here?"
She looked at her without much reaction.
"Four-eyes, why do you dress like a grandma?"
Saki got angry. "I ask her something and she insults me?"
Annoyed, she turned her back to her. She felt stupid for worrying. The big-titted bitch was still annoying.
She only heard a giggle while trying to sleep until Noa returned.
