Reynold just leaned back a little toward Evan while looking at the huge drop right off the edge of the high stone platform.
"Yeah, I am thinking of backing out too," Reynold said over the loud noise of the wind.. "But the good thing is, there is a safety strap waiting down there for us to fall in if things go wrong."
Before Evan could even say any thing back, Sergeant Rowan's voice sounded again.
"Cadet Evan, you are next. move!"
Evan let out a breath as he turned back to Reynold and then he let out a small, nervous smile with his lips. "oh well wish me luck, man."
Reynold let out a nod. "Good luck and don't die out there, man.."
Evan turned around and started walking over to the front of the flight line. His dragon was by his side. Evan took another deep breath as he tried his best to calm his already fast, beating heart and stop the nervous feeling inside his chest.
Before he could even breath in again, Sergeant Rowan's voice sounded again.
