Subconsciously turning around, he noticed Damien looking at him with a deadpan look.
For the first time his face was filled with a terrifying gloom…
"Err, sorry?" Amon tried to compose himself and hastily pushed all his thoughts to the back of his mind.
Damien stared at him with a blank look on his face and the tension between them heightened.
He stood up, causing Amon's heart to skip a beat.
Did he cross the line in some way?
Just when Amon thought he was going to be reprimanded, or punished in some way, Damien's face took a drastic turn.
Lighting up with excitement, he asked curiously.
"It's interesting, right? This was written by the first human to form a bond with a celestial dragon! The first human to ever walk the divine path."
Damien rubbed his forehead, as though the excitement flowing through him was too great to be contained.
