"Yooosh!"
A joyful shout broke the silence inside a small apartment room.
"Finally... the one-year-long wait is finally over!"
Inside the dim room, a young man with messy black hair could be seen jumping up and down in joy on his bed. However, his euphoria did not last long. Suddenly, a loud banging sound came from the wall next door.
Bang! Bang!
"Hey, you're being noisy! Can you keep it down?!" roared his next-door neighbor, clearly very disturbed by the young man's shouting.
"S-sorry..." replied the young man in a low tone, his courage suddenly shrinking from being reprimanded.
"Watch the time, you stupid brat! It's already late at night!" the neighbor scolded harshly, before the atmosphere finally fell silent again.
As soon as his neighbor fell silent, the young man immediately frowned, lowering his voice full of anger. "Tch! Just you wait. After this, I will definitely pay you back, you damn commoner," he grumbled cynically as he sat back down on the edge of the bed.
His gaze was now locked straight ahead, staring at a transparent blue holographic panel screen floating in the air. An arrogant smirk slowly blossomed on his lips.
"Hehehe... finally... the tutorial mission from this damn system is over," he chuckled triumphantly.
On the blue holographic screen, it was written clearly:
[Tutorial Mission: Be Patient]
[Condition: Wait one year until entering the main storyline. Do not make any contact with the main characters or important supporting characters in the story.]
[Penalty: Genitals explode in public.]
[Reward: Random.]
"Finally, now I can start entering the main story! I've painstakingly waited for this entire year. I was even willing to pretend to be an idiot in class and hide my abilities just so I wouldn't disrupt the original storyline," muttered the young man named Bong Ol.
He shuddered in horror imagining the punishment. "Besides, the penalty for failing is too terrifying. Like hell I'd be willing to experience that! My 'little brother' hasn't even had the chance to have fun with the bodies of the heroines in this world yet."
Bong Ol smirked pervertedly. "Hehe~ Yukino, Yui... the two of you will soon be mine. The same goes for the other girls. Isshiki, Komachi, Haruno, Hiratsuka-sensei... I will make sure all of you bow down and become my harem!" he resolved with eyes sparkling cunningly.
"Armed with the reward from this dog-shit system, I can definitely build the world I've always dreamed of! Hehehe... let's open it and see what the main reward is," he said while rubbing his hands together in full anticipation.
However, as soon as his eyes read the contents of the reward, his facial expression changed drastically.
"WHAT IS THIS?!" he screamed hysterically.
Bang!
"Hey! I told you to shut up!" his neighbor raged again from behind the thin wall.
Ignoring his neighbor's rage, Bong Ol stared at the holographic screen with his eyes widening in disbelief, his jaw seemingly about to drop. "W-why... why is it like this?!"
On the screen it was written:
[The reward will arrive in 3 days. The Host is requested to be patient.]
"DON'T YOU MESS WITH ME!" Bong Ol raged.
"Hey—"
Before his neighbor could finish protesting, Bong Ol immediately cut him off with a frustrated scream while furiously punching the wall of his room.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
"I've painstakingly waited for a whole year for this, and now I'm being told to wait again?! I've had enough!" he shouted uncontrollably.
However, his euphoric rage stopped instantly when a loud crash was heard from the direction of his apartment's front door.
CRASH!
His apartment door had just been forcefully kicked open from the outside.
"W-who is there?!" Bong Ol exclaimed.
His panic immediately took over upon realizing his door had been forced open.
Heavy and threatening footsteps were heard getting closer down the hallway. Bong Ol gulped, his eyes fixed on the darkness of the hallway, waiting for the figure to appear.
Crack! Crack!
The sound of cracking knuckles getting ready to punch could be heard, followed by an incredibly deep and intimidating baritone voice.
"In this world, there are three types of people you must never disturb..." The voice echoed from behind the shadows. "One, never disturb someone who is eating. Two, never disturb someone who is working. And the third... never ever disturb someone who is sleeping!"
Along with that last sentence, a giant-sized man stepped out from the darkness of the hallway. His muscles bulged terrifyingly from beneath his clothes.
"You are truly courting your own death, Brat," the giant man growled coldly.
Bong Ol's courage shrank to rock bottom. His body trembled violently seeing the human-shaped monster in front of him.
"W-wait a minute! L-let me explain! I-I didn't mean to at all—" Bong Ol stuttered as he stepped backward in fear.
"Silence!" the man cut him off shortly and absolutely.
He clenched his massive fist and raised it high into the air.
"NOOO! STOOOOP!!!!"
And that desperate scream became Bong Ol's last sound echoing into the long night.

"I'm home," called out Hikigaya Hachiman as soon as he stepped inside his house. He then turned to look behind him. "Come in," he told the two guests trailing behind him.
Not long after, cheerful footsteps and a girl's voice welcoming him could be heard from the direction of the living room. "Welcome back, Onii-chan! It's rare for your club activities to be this late—"
The girl's words—Hikigaya Komachi, Hachiman's younger sister—were instantly cut off. Her footsteps stopped abruptly.
"Wow, we have guests," Komachi murmured in surprise. Her eyes widened, observing her brother's two guests.
Their appearances were truly beyond reason. One was an authoritative old man wearing an elegant suit, while the other was a mysterious young man whose face was tightly covered by the hood of his jacket. Both exuded an extraordinary aura that seemed as if they weren't from this world.
The old man then smiled warmly, breaking Komachi's daydream. "Good evening, Young Lady."
Snapping out of her shock, Komachi immediately glared sharply at her brother. She grabbed Hachiman's sleeve and immediately dragged the young man to the corner of the room.
"Brother, who are those two?!" Komachi whispered suspiciously.
"Those two are... my friends. You don't need to worry, they are just going to stay over here for a little while," Hachiman whispered, trying to reassure her.
"Your friends, Brother?!" Komachi shrieked under her breath, her expression displaying an incredibly heavy shock.
"Hey! Stop making a face like you're shocked to death! Your brother can have friends too, you know!" Hachiman grumbled, refusing to accept it.
Komachi glanced back at the two people who were still standing waiting near the entrance. "Okay, let's forget about that for a second. But why are their appearances so striking like that? And what are they doing coming all the way to our house?"
"That's... they have some work matters in this city. Their appearances are indeed a bit unusual because they come from overseas," Hachiman dodged, lying.
"Work???" Komachi's forehead wrinkled. She looked at the two guests again. From beneath the hood of his jacket, Yuuto could be seen waving his hand amicably toward her.
Trying to maintain her manners, Komachi finally adjusted her expression and walked over to the two of them.
"Wow... umm... sorry, sorry for making you wait at the door. It's just that I was so surprised when I found out my brother brought friends. At first, I actually thought you two entered the wrong house," Komachi chuckled awkwardly.
"Hahaha, it's quite alright, Miss. Ah, that's right. Would you like to accept this? Just think of it as a souvenir from the two of us," Zelretch greeted as he pulled out a luxurious-looking gift box.
Komachi fell silent for a moment, her eyes sparkling at the sight of the gift box. "Wow, thank you so much! But... doesn't this look very expensive?" she asked hesitantly.
"Ah, the price of that item is nothing when given to the younger sister of my stude—ahem, I mean, my friend," Zelretch corrected himself quickly.
Komachi immediately hugged the gift box with a radiant smile, then glanced at her brother. "Oh my... for the first time in my life, I feel grateful to have a brother like you," she teased.
"Hey!" Hachiman grumbled in annoyance, feeling offended.
"Hahaha, oh right, I almost forgot to introduce myself. My name is Komachi Hikigaya. I'm sorry if this brother of mine has been troubling the two of you," Komachi greeted warmly while bowing politely.
"Oh, what a very kind and polite girl. Of course, it would be highly inappropriate if we didn't introduce ourselves as well," Zelretch chuckled warmly. "Let me introduce myself, my name is Zelretch. Just call me Grandpa Zel if you have trouble pronouncing my long name."
"My turn. Let me introduce myself, my name is Yuuto Kido. You are free to call me whatever you like," Yuuto said.
The young man slowly pulled down his jacket hood, revealing his true face, and then gave a captivating smile toward Komachi.
Komachi instantly froze in silence. Her breath seemed to catch in her throat upon seeing Yuuto's facial features, which were overly handsome and beautiful like a work of art. A faint red flush began to spread across her cheeks.
"Komachi, do we have enough food ingredients in stock to entertain our guests?"
Hachiman's shout from the direction of the kitchen successfully broke Komachi's daydream and pulled her back to reality.
"Ah! Y-yes!" Komachi replied, slightly flustered. She turned to Yuuto awkwardly. "Umm... about dinner—"
"You don't need to worry about that," Yuuto interrupted gently.
He suddenly pulled out a basket filled with fresh cuts of meat and high-quality vegetables. "I purposefully brought my own ingredients from home. If you'll allow me, I'd like to borrow your kitchen tonight. Don't worry, I'm quite skilled when it comes to cooking," Yuuto said as he handed the basket to Komachi.
Komachi received the heavy basket with eyes sparkling in amazement. "Wow... this is so much! Furthermore, these ingredients look incredibly fresh! Where did Big Brother Yuuto get them?" she asked curiously.
"Oh, I harvested them directly from nature. So there's no need to worry, everything is guaranteed to be safe and healthy," Yuuto answered casually.
"Eh? Are you a farmer, Big Brother Yuuto? The quality of these vegetables and meat is extremely good, much better than what I usually see in the market or even the supermarket!" Komachi exclaimed enthusiastically. Unconsciously, the girl stepped forward, closing the distance between herself and Yuuto because she was too excited.
"Hahaha, I'm not a farmer. It just so happens that I manage a rather large plot of land, and from there I harvested all of this. If Komachi-chan wants to, someday you can—"
"AHEM!"
A loud clear of the throat from Hachiman suddenly cut off Yuuto's words. The young man with the ahoge hair was suddenly already standing between the two of them with his dead-fish eyes sharpening.
His eyebrow twitched in annoyance seeing the distance between Yuuto's and his sister's bodies almost touching.
"Komachi, please prepare the kitchen utensils now. I will also help in the kitchen," Hachiman interrupted firmly.
"Ah! Y-yes, okay! I'll go prepare them first!" Komachi exclaimed. The girl hurriedly turned around and ran inside toward the dining room.
Right after Komachi disappeared from sight, Hachiman immediately darted towards Yuuto and grabbed him by the collar.
"You," Hachiman hissed sharply. "You aren't trying to break your promise, are you?! I told you, don't ever use that weird charm ability of yours on her and don't you dare get near my little sister!"
"Hehe~ relax, I'm not doing anything. The magic seal from Sensei is still attached very tightly to my body. This is even much stricter than my normal limits, you know. I wouldn't go that far just to flirt," Yuuto chuckled casually, raising both of his hands in a gesture of surrender.
Even so, Hachiman continued to glare at him with full suspicion.
"Besides, don't forget that I am already bound by a Geis with you," Yuuto continued reassuringly. "You still remember the contents of the absolute oath, right? If I were to violate those boundaries, a deadly curse would immediately fall upon me. Furthermore, Zelretch himself is the witness to our oath. You surely still remember how absolute Zelretch's position is in the magus world, right?" Yuuto said as he pointed at the old man. Zelretch only responded with a subtle smile.
"So, you can breathe easy now. I will not use my charm or anything of the sort on your precious little sister. That is my promise to you," Yuuto concluded.
Hachiman fell silent for a moment, weighing those words. However, his instincts still felt uneasy. "If that's truly the case... then why did my sister react—"
"Brother! Could you please come here for a second?! I need help!"
Komachi's loud call from the kitchen successfully cut off Hachiman's sentence.
"Yeah, I'm coming there now!" Hachiman replied on reflex. He turned back to Yuuto and glared at him sharply. "Our business isn't finished yet. We will talk about this again later," he threatened quietly, before finally hurrying to catch up with his sister.
Now, only Zelretch and Yuuto remained in that area. Just as Yuuto was about to step inside to follow Hachiman, Zelretch's deep voice suddenly stopped him.
"A 'promise' spoken from the mouth of a Fae, huh..." Zelretch muttered, staring intently at the young man's back. "Did you secretly slip a loophole trap inside that Geis oath?"
Yuuto stopped in his tracks. He fell silent for a moment, then looked back with a mysterious smile that was hard to decipher. "Who knows... why don't you just find out for yourself later, Old Man?"
he replied cryptically, then walked away to follow Hachiman.
Left alone, Zelretch could only shake his head slowly.
"My poor student. There will surely be a very steep price that must be paid for this later," Zelretch mumbled to himself.
(Author's Note: Hello everyone! I just finished marathoning and rewatching the entire season of the Oregairu anime. To be honest, after watching it again, I've become very interested in adding Komachi into Yuuto's harem! I really love her personality and character dynamics. So, what do you guys think? Should I include Komachi in Yuuto's harem route or not?)
