"She's your little sister now."
"Bronya, this is Sirin—just like you, she's my daughter."
"Hello, Sister Sirin," Bronya said softly.
Not wanting to appear like a bad child in front of her mother, Sirin nodded reluctantly and replied, "I understand, Mom."
When Bronya and Sirin met each other's eyes, both felt something odd.
This one's not easy to get along with.
From Sirin, Bronya sensed an aura of superiority—like those high-ranking officers who looked down on others as less than human.
Meanwhile, Sirin thought Bronya's eyes didn't look like those of a normal child—they were the same cold, emotionless eyes as the assassins humans once sent to kill her in another world.
Back in Ai Enma's world, Sirin had often been targeted by assassins sent by the remnants of the old age during her outings, so she recognized that look all too well.
Seeing both girls being so obedient, Kiana Kaslana smiled, gently patting their heads. "You two must get along well from now on."
And so, Sirin and Bronya began their new life together as sisters.
In the following days, Bronya gradually adapted to the environment of the Houkai Universe, though she could never quite get used to Sirin's personality.
At first, she endured Sirin's attitude again and again—until she simply couldn't take it anymore.
Between Sirin's teasing and Kiana Kaslana's gentle teachings, Bronya's emotions gradually began to return.
Sirin called Bronya "Duckling."
Bronya, in return, called Sirin "Pufferfish."
Naturally, both nicknames had been Kiana Kaslana's doing.
The two bickered often, but after some time, their relationship improved greatly.
...
Ai Enma's world.
Luoyang City.
Man Sui sat atop a Knight-class Honkai Beast steed, gazing up at the towering city walls. Behind her stretched an army of zombies, Honkai Beasts, and human soldiers.
"Liang, I'll take the lead," she said.
Before the man beside her could reply, Man Sui charged forward alone. The soldiers on the walls immediately loosed their arrows.
The arrows rained down like a storm—but not a single one struck her.
Man Sui's personal reality-distortion field deflected all projectiles that relied on inertia.
"..."
Liang watched her charge alone and silently readied the troops to enter. He hadn't believed in so-called Heaven's Chosen before.
But after meeting Man Sui, he began to believe.
She truly was Heaven's chosen one—destined to save the world and end the chaos of the age.
Seraph-class Honkai Beasts soared across the sky, dropping Honkai bombs onto the defenders atop the walls.
Boom—boom—boom!
Explosions rocked the city. Soldiers were blasted into the air.
Man Sui swung her blade, cleaving the massive city gates into splinters.
The defenders within Luoyang had no chance of stopping her. Her saber released waves of cutting energy, leaving only blood and broken bodies in her wake.
"The gate is breached! Enter Luoyang—slay the pig demon!"
Liang drew his weapon and shouted, "Kill!!"
At his command, the Honkai army surged into Luoyang.
Man Sui rampaged through the city, unstoppable. Wherever she went, no one survived.
"..."
When Liang entered the city, he found the streets carpeted with corpses. Blood flowed like rivers, staining the ground crimson.
A single person capable of destroying an entire army...
So this is Heaven's chosen?
Though he had already seen Man Sui wield godlike power, the sight still filled him with awe.
Before long, Man Sui's forces completely captured Luoyang.
The zombies and Honkai Beasts slaughtered all defenders—those who surrendered were killed just the same.
This was Kiana Kaslana's command for the zombies and Honkai Beasts: aside from attractive female enemies who could be captured and played with, all others were useless and only wasted resources.
Better to send them into reincarnation.
Watching the zombies butcher the disarmed soldiers of Luoyang, Liang frowned. These heavenly soldiers and beasts truly were merciless.
The troops burst into the prince's mansion, dragging out a man weighing five or six hundred jin—so fat he looked like a pig demon—and threw him at Man Sui's feet.
The pig demon trembled with terror. "Don't kill me! Don't kill me! I'm of royal blood! If you kill me, the imperial court will wipe out your entire clan!"
Liang stepped forward and delivered a heavy kick to the pig demon's fat, greasy face. "You bastard! Our Lord Man Sui is here, and you dare to threaten us?"
Lord Man Sui?!
Her?!
Nose bleeding from the kick, the pig demon turned his terrified gaze toward the cold-faced little girl holding a saber. "You're all insane! A bunch of grown men worshiping a child as your emperor—you're mad!"
Liang looked to Man Sui. "How should we deal with him?"
The pig demon pleaded, "Please, don't kill me! I have money—plenty of food and treasure!"
Liang kicked him again. "Shut your filthy mouth! Once you're dead, your wealth and grain are ours anyway!"
Man Sui stared at the grotesque mound of flesh before her, feeling nothing but disgust. She wanted to cut him down with one strike—but that seemed far too merciful.
At that moment, a massive cauldron appeared out of thin air.
"This is the Hell Cauldron. Use it to boil him alive."
Hearing the familiar voice, Man Sui paused slightly. She turned toward the cauldron that had materialized beside her, then looked back at Liang. "The Immortal says to throw the pig demon into the cauldron."
"Understood."
Liang nodded. The enormous pot that had appeared in the middle of the night was extraordinary—its base burned without fuel, and the bubbling oil within seethed with unnatural heat.
"What is this?! No—no, don't put me in there! Help! Someone help me!"
Ignoring his screams, Liang and several soldiers bound the terrified, piss-soaked pig demon, stuffed his mouth with cloth, and threw him into the boiling oil.
As soon as he hit the surface, the pain was indescribable. His face twisted into a mask of horror and agony as his body convulsed violently within the cauldron, muffled screams spilling from his throat.
The cauldron itself was something Kiana Kaslana had taken from the Eighteenth Level of the Hell of Oil Caldrons. Any sinner thrown inside would experience being deep-fried alive again and again—endlessly.
Kiana placed a protective barrier around the cauldron to prevent anyone from interfering, leaving the pig demon to endlessly endure his punishment for all to see.
A perfect warning to the world.
To tell them all: not only did she rule over the living—she ruled over the dead as well.
Death was no escape.
Some people never feared until they saw Hell for themselves.
So now, she had brought Hell to them.
Are you afraid now?
If not—there's always the full Eighteen Tortures package waiting for you.
A blade at the neck provides fear; visible torment delivers obedience.
Ordinary death and reincarnation were acts of mercy.
Kiana Kaslana herself did not fear death.
What she feared was pain.
Man Sui ordered all the gold, jewels, and stockpiled grain from the prince's mansion to be distributed among the refugees.
Ever since the people learned that the gods truly watched from above, they had all grown timid.
After all, the pig demon was still boiling in the cauldron.
No one dared defy Heaven's will and risk ending up in the pot themselves.
