Saturn's agonized howl echoed through the forest, black lightning crackling around him. His right eye refused to regenerate—the wound pulsed with a foreign power.
This energy… what is—
Then a voice rang inside his skull.
"Lord Imu!" Saturn stiffened in terror.
[Use that power. Capture him.]
"Yes, Lord Imu!"
Ignoring the pain, Saturn lifted one spidery leg—
—but instead of attacking, he slammed it into the ground.
BOOM.
Before him bloomed a massive pentagram sigil, lines burning red before turning jet black. Smoke and thunder gathered above it, and from the center descended a giant—over forty meters tall, kneeling on one knee.
Dimon hovered midair, eyes narrowing.
That connection—so Imu can really talk across the world.
And that giant—he looked familiar.
"Harald." Saturn's voice was harsh. "Grab him. You failed last time. Don't fail again!"
Dimon arched a brow. "So it is the Giant King."
The newcomer rose, long black beard bristling, curved horns jutting from his skull. His broadsword gleamed as he glared first at Saturn, then at Dimon.
"You're the brewer Rocks mentioned, aren't you?"
"Dimon," the man in black replied calmly. "Nice to meet you, Your Majesty."
The two measured each other in silence.
Harald, blood of the ancient giants, had once fought Rocks to a draw—then turned his back on him. Seeing him now, pulled from a summoning circle, Dimon realized the truth: a mark.
Only those branded could be summoned by Imu's sigils.
"Rocks would be disappointed to see you like this," Dimon said, hands in his pockets, gaze cool from above.
Harald shut his eyes, a flicker of shame crossing his face—then he exhaled hard, resolve hardening.
"All for Elbaf! Forgive me, brewer!"
With a roar, Harald swung his sword. The air itself screamed—the blade crackled with Conqueror's Haki, black lightning dancing across the steel.
Dimon grinned. "Yeah, no thanks. I'm out."
He blurred, wings flicking once—and was gone, a streak of black light swooping past the giant.
He dipped lower, scooped up Stussy—who had been enjoying the show like it was theater—and shot off toward the west.
"After him!" Saturn barked. "Do not let him escape! Lord Imu demands it!"
Harald brought his sword down, the missed strike tearing the island apart.
The seas split for miles, a canyon of white foam dividing the waters.
Stussy clung to Dimon's neck, pale at the sight.
"Remind me never to tease a giant again…"
"Who knows what's in his head," Dimon muttered. "Probably seawater."
He didn't fight idiots—especially powerful ones.
Rising higher, he spread his senses.
His Observation Haki swept across the island—battlefields everywhere, Conqueror's clashes roaring like storms.
The Rocks Pirates were meeting real resistance.
"Must be the Holy Knights," Dimon murmured. "Forget them. Let's grab the prize."
Then he froze—several powerful signatures flickered from the western coast.
Wait… that presence…
God Valley, West Coast
"Th-That's the Oro Jackson!"
Marines screamed as the great ship cut through the blockade—its hull made of Treasure Tree Adam, its figurehead two mermaids and a forward cannon. Three red sails bore a gold-bearded skull.
"Roger Pirates! They're here!"
"Alert all forces! Roger Pirates have landed on the west coast!"
"Damn it! First Rocks, now Roger!? What's happening on this cursed island!?"
A single swing split a battleship. On the beach, Gol D. Roger leapt ashore, the sword Ace flashing in his hand.
"I've waited a year for this! It's here—I can feel it!"
Behind him, Rayleigh and Jabba grinned.
"Looks like it's finally time to raise hell."
"Roger, no captain's privileges this time!"
The Roger Pirates poured in, laughter echoing through the din.
"Let's tear this place apart!"
God Valley, South Shore
"Reinforcements! Reinforcements have arrived!"
"It's Vice Admiral Garp's ship!"
A dog-headed warship crashed through the waves. Before it could even dock, Garp vaulted overboard, bellowing—
"WHERE IS HE!? WHERE'S ROGER!?"
God Valley, Forest Skies
High above the chaos, Dimon dampened his aura and slowed his flight.
"Rocks, Roger, Garp… this island's getting crowded." He glanced back—Harald was still on his tail.
"Hold tight. Time to shake him."
"Got it~" Stussy cooed, looping her arms tighter.
Dimon's black wings snapped once—wind boomed—and he dropped altitude, skimming through the forest canopy like a black bullet.
God Valley, Central Valley
Between two cliffs carved by ancient force lay the ceremonial stage—now abandoned.
The Celestial Dragons had fled, leaving six treasure chests unattended.
Two kids peeked from behind the rocks.
One had a huge purple afro and a comically wide face.
The other—a tall, quiet boy with heavy shoulders and empty eyes.
Emporio Ivankov grinned. "Quick, Kuma! Grab the chests!"
Kuma obeyed silently, stacking four boxes onto his massive shoulders while Ivankov lifted two.
Explosions thundered in the distance. Conqueror's Haki swept the air like hurricanes.
"Stick to the plan!" Ivankov hissed. "We came for the Paw-Paw Fruit—once we get it, we can escape! Let's go!"
They hurried into a storage shed, trembling but determined. Setting the boxes down, Ivankov popped one open—
His jaw dropped.
"The Azure Dragon Fruit! The strongest zoan there is!"
He turned. "What about yours?"
Kuma lifted out a pink, paw-shaped fruit.
"The Paw-Paw Fruit."
"That's it! Perfect!" Ivankov said quickly. "One each—we eat them now. Even if we can't swim, it's our only chance to live!"
Both raised the fruits to their lips.
BANG!
The door exploded inward.
A towering woman grabbed Ivankov by the collar and snatched the blue fruit from his hands.
"Thanks, kiddos," Charlotte Linlin smirked, eyes glinting. "But this isn't for brats."
Rocks Pirates.
Ivankov's face drained of color. "Kuma! Run!"
Kuma flinched, then gritted his teeth and turned, bolting out the back door.
"Eat it! Live!" Ivankov shouted after him.
Tears blurred Kuma's vision. He shut his eyes tight and raised the fruit to his mouth—
Only for a hand to close gently around his wrist.
Kuma froze.
In front of him stood a man and woman—Dimon, smiling faintly, Stussy beside him.
"Easy, kid," Dimon said softly.
"That fruit—leave it to Uncle. I'll get you out of here."
