Eneru's voice echoed across the sky like rolling thunder.
"What is he doing…?" Raki whispered.
No one answered.
On the island cloud above, Noah and the others tried desperately to form a plan to stop Eneru.
ZAP!
Eneru appeared before them in a flash.
"I'm going to destroy this island… and everyone on it." He raised his hand toward the sky. Dark clouds swirled violently, lightning crashing harder than before.
Noah unsheathed his sword and lunged.
Eneru blocked the strike with one finger.
"Mantra."
The shockwave forced Noah back. He dropped to one knee, panting.
Eneru vanished.
"What happened?" Emma asked, her voice trembling.
"I… think I've overused my power," Noah replied, gripping his chest as he tried to breathe steadily.
"We need to get on that ship," Luffy said.
"We can't teleport… not yet," Noah answered, struggling to stand.
"Take your time, Noah. You don't need to rush," Emma said softly.
"I know… thanks for worrying," Noah replied.
Luffy stretched both arms outward.He grabbed onto two trees, pulling himself back like a slingshot.
"Gum-Gum… ROCKET!!!"
He blasted into the sky toward Eneru's ship.
Luffy landed on the deck with a loud thud.
Eneru looked at luffy unimpressed."So you finally made it," Eneru said, smiling.
"Yeah! And I'm gonna beat you up!" Luffy shouted.
Eneru lifted one finger. "One hundred million volts…"
BOOM!!!
A thick bolt of lightning hit Luffy straight in the chest.
Smoke rose.
Eneru smiled. "And now yo—"
Luffy stood there… unharmed… picking his nose.
"Huh? Did you do something?"
Eneru blinked. "What… what are you made of?"
Luffy grinned. "Rubber!"
Eneru twitched. "Rubber…? You're joking."
Luffy charged.
"Gum-Gum Pistol!"
Eneru shifted into lightning and dodged easily.
Luffy swung again and again, but Eneru kept turning into lightning and reforming on the other side of the ship.
"You're slow," Eneru teased. "Too slow."
"Stop moving around!" Luffy yelled.
Eneru held his staff and sent a blast of lightning through it.
Luffy walked through the lightning like it was nothing.
Eneru frowned. "Fine… let's try something stronger."
He melted a giant chunk of gold on the ship using his lightning.
The hot metal dripped and shaped into a long golden trident.
Eneru lifted it with ease.
"This weapon can hurt even you."
Luffy rushed in.
Eneru swung the trident—
CLANG!
Luffy blocked with both arms but skidded back across the deck.
"That's heavy!" Luffy shouted.
Eneru vanished and reappeared behind him.
"Divine Spear!"
The gold trident stabbed forward—
Luffy bent backwards, dodging by inches.
Eneru attacked again.
Luffy jumped on the mast, bounced off the sail, and came flying down.
"Gum-Gum Stamp!"
Eneru blocked with the trident, the shockwave breaking part of the deck.
"You are strong," Eneru said. "But not enough."
He burst into lightning, wrapped around the trident, and stabbed Luffy in the shoulder.
"Agh!" Luffy yelled as gold burned into his skin.
Eneru kicked him hard in the chest—
Luffy flew off the ship.
Noah looked up and saw Luffy falling fast.
"Luffy!!"
Noah rewrote the vectors around Luffy's body, making him light as air.
Luffy slowed down and dropped gently into Noah's arms.
"You okay?" Noah asked.
Luffy winced. "My shoulder… kinda hurts…"
Noah placed a hand on the wound.
Vector Manipulation—Heal.
The burn faded, but not fully.
"That's all I can do for now," Noah said.
"It's good enough," Luffy replied with a grin.
10 Minutes Later…
Noah stood up straight, breathing steady again.
"My energy's back."
"Vector Manipulation—Flying Thunder God!"
BLIP!
Noah appears beside Zoro and the others.
"Alright, listen," Noah said quickly. "We need to evacuate the island. Eneru plans to destroy Skypiea. Pagaya, Chopper—you two go warn everyone. The rest of you, get ready to move fast."
Zoro nodded.
Sanji crossed his arms. "Try not to die."
Usopp gulped. "W-We'll be right behind you!"
Noah turned. "Pagaya, I need the waver."
Pagaya nodded fast and pushed it forward. "Take it! Please save the island!"
BLIP!
Noah teleported the waver onto the island cloud above.
"Nami, here."
Nami's eyes lit up. "Finally!"
She hopped onto the waver.
"Luffy, get on!"
"Okay!"
Luffy leaped behind her and held onto her waist.
"DON'T squeeze so tight!" Nami yelled.
"Sorry!" Luffy said… while squeezing tighter.
Noah rolled his eyes and turned to Emma.
"Get on my back."
Emma blinked. "What—seriously?"
"No time."
Emma sighed and climbed on, wrapping her arms around him.
"Hold tight," Noah said.
"I am holding tight," Emma muttered, already regretting it.
Noah bent his knees. His muscles tensed.
Energy built under his feet like a pressure bomb.
"Vector Manipulation—Acceleration!"
FWOOOOM!!!
Wind blasted out as Noah rocketed forward.
The ground cracked behind him.
Emma's eyes went wide.
"NOAH SLOW DOWN—AHAHA—TOO FAST!!"
"Can't!" Noah shouted back, leaning forward.
"We need to reach the top before Eneru launches his finally attack!"
He dashed toward Giant Jack—
The monstrous tree reached straight into the clouds above.
The roots alone were the size of buildings.
The trunk stretched up and up, disappearing into clouds.
"You're gonna run up that?!" Emma yelled.
"Yep!"
Noah slammed his foot onto the bark—
and ran straight up, sparks of vector energy blasting behind each step.
Below them, voices echoed faintly.
"THAT'S NOT NORMAL!!" Usopp screamed.
"Go faster, Noah!" Sanji yelled.
"Luffy you better not lose!" Zoro shouted.
Pagaya gasped. "H-Humans can do this?!"
Chopper fell over. "I can't look!!"
Noah kept running, each step pushing harder than the last.
Emma held on tighter.
At the halfway point, she whispered, "Don't drop me."
"I won't."
Higher and higher—
the air grew thinner, colder, sharper.
Then—
Sunlight burst through as they broke past the cloud line.
The top platform of Giant Jack came into view—
and Eneru's flying ship Maxim hovered above it, glowing with crackling lightning.
Noah narrowed his eyes.
"We're almost there."
Emma nodded nervously.
"Let's finish this."
[ BACK TO THE PRESENT ]
"How dare you stand in the way of God!" Eneru shouted.
Noah chuckled. "If you're God… then I'm a destroyer."
The two stared at each other, floating above the clouds.
