Later that day…
Noah and Emma sat on top of a tall roof, watching chaos unfold below them.
NOAH-[ This doesn't make any sense… In the anime Robin attacked Iceberg tonight, not last night.
Why did it happen early? Did something change? Did I change it? ]
His head tilted slightly as he tried to piece it together.
Emma noticed his expression. "Are you alright?" she asked softly.
"I'm good," Noah said. "Just thinking about something."
Emma crossed her arms. "I can see that."
Noah sighed and pushed himself up. "Let's search for Luffy and the others."
Emma nodded. She reached for Noah's hand.
Blip!
They vanished from the rooftop and reappeared inside the hotel room. Noah immediately collapsed face-first onto the bed.
"Good thing I marked this place before we left," he mumbled into the pillow.
Emma rolled her eyes, walked to the bathroom, and moved a loose board behind the glass.
A small hidden opening was there, she pulled out a briefcase stuffed with money.
"I got the money. Let's go now."
"Let's just rest a while…" Noah said, rolling onto his back with a lazy grin. "It's free."
Emma sighed and sat on the other bed.
Noah got up, locked the door, then flopped back down.
They talked for a while until they both dozed off.
A loud ringing shot through the whole building.
Emma jolted awake. "What—?!"
Noah shot up and stumbled to the window. When he looked outside, his eyes widened.
The entire canal below the hotel…
was overflowing.
"Um…" Noah said calmly. "When did the water level rise?"
"What?!" Emma shouted, jumping out of bed and rushing beside him. Her eyes went huge. "No. No. No—Noah, this is bad!"
"Yeah," Noah said. "We need to move."
Emma grabbed the briefcase. "Let's go NOW!"
Noah pulled open the window and looked at the buildings across the flooded street.
"Emma, give me something I can throw."
Emma quickly searched her pockets and handed him a small coin.
Noah flicked the coin through the open window. It sailed across and bounced off the rooftop of a building across the street.
Emma climbed onto Noah's back and wrapped her arms around him.
Noah grinned.
"Good grip."

They disappeared and reappeared on top of the opposite roof.
The wind whipped their clothes,the sky darkened and the sound of the sea roared like a monster.
And then they saw it, A giant wall of water rushing towards Water Seven.
Emma's voice trembled. "What… what is that…?"
Noah stared calmly.
NOAH-[Just like in the anime.]
The wave roared as it pushed toward the city.
"What are we going to do?" Emma asked.
Before Noah could answer—
"HEY! OVER HERE!" a man shouted from the other side of the city.
Noah turned.
A group of people stood on higher ground, waving frantically.
"HURRY UP! GET OVER HERE BEFORE IT HITS!"
Emma swallowed. "We have to go!"
Noah nodded. "Hold on."
Noah lifted Emma into his arms.
"I can run faster this way."
Emma grabbed his shirt tightly. "Noah—just don't drop me!"
He smirked. "I won't."
He sprinted forward.
The roof cracked under his feet as he dashed across it.
He jumped to the next rooftop and kept going.
Behind them, the wave hit the lower buildings and swallowed them.
Emma looked back and her voice cracked. "Noah—faster!"
"I'm trying," Noah said.
They leapt to another rooftop.
Noah slid across the slanted tiles.
His boot slipped.
Emma gasped. "Noah!"
He stomped down.
Vector Manipulation-Vector Grip
His foot stuck to the roof like glue.
He used the force to push off again, flying to the next building.
Buildings shook as water rushed in below them.
Boats slammed into walls.
Doors burst open as water smashed them apart.
The wave kept growing.
"Emma. Look ahead."
Emma followed his gaze.
"Luffy! Nami! Zoro! Chopper!"
They were all on a far rooftop, running and jumping like crazy to escape the wave too.
Luffy turned and saw Noah. "OH! NOAH! YOU'RE RUNNING TOO?!"
Noah shouted back, "WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?!"
"I can't breathe!" Zoro muttered.
Nami screamed as she hold onto luffy, "MOVE OR WE'RE DEAD!"
They all jumped to the next building.
Emma pointed. "We're close! Just one more "
Noah looked back.
The wave was right behind them.
Emma squeezed Noah's shirt. "Don't let it hit us!"
Noah jumped and missed, they plunged into the wave.
Water slammed against them, spinning their bodies.
Debris and wooden beams scraped past their arms and legs.
"Oh no!" Nami said looking back.
