Emma stood in front of the Dave Corp. Building. She remembered when Draken asked her to fight for her rights as the true heiress of the Dave Corporation left behind by her mother. She didn't have to hide anymore, she'd suffered more than enough.
"Ma'am we should go in" Shaun, her new bodyguard as tasked by Draken said.
"You don't have to come in with me Shaun, you can wait outside.. I'll call you if I need you" she replied.
"My boss tasked me to keep you safe. I don't want to betray his trust....I'll keep my distance if you feel I make you uncomfortable" He was understanding..no wonder he stayed so long by Draken's side.
Emma went in straight to Samantha's office.
' The so called president of Dave Corp'
"We need to talk" she barged in regardless of her secretary's efforts to stop her.
"You could have called if you wanted to talk" Samantha replied, dismissing her secretary.
Shaun stayed out of sight from Samantha, but was still closeby keeping watch of Emma.
"You want to sell my shares? Sam how can you do that...I still have every legal right to this company...more than dad, more than you or your mother" Emma snapped at her.
"So, cousin Alex did tell you"
"You didn't want this right? You gave it up. I was the one who stood by dad and made this company grow!" Samantha replied in the same tone as her.
They were now arguing.
"You know what dad did to me, after that mother of yours seduced him ..you shouldn't even be here!"
"Say that again Emma! And I'll have you thrown out. I'm still the president here" Sam threatened her.....but the Emma who stood before her was afraid of nothing now.
"I don't care, do whatever you want! Im not leaving this place. Call the board for meeting and let them decide who should sit in this office" Emma was more than determine to defeat her.
"You think you can defeat me Emma. As pathetic as you are, you don't even have any experience. You think the board will choose you?" Sam mocked her.
She believed that Emma was a good for nothing. What could she possibly know about business and jewelry?
"Maybe you're just scared to lose to me like you always did....I was better than you. Even upto this day, I've always won" Emma was confident.
"No way! You won't have Draken Hunt, he's mine. I can only marry him if I'm President, I won't let you take that away from me!" Sam screamed trying to hit her....but Emma dodged her.
If only she could scream at her as well, that the man she desperately wanted to marry was already her husband and their bond was unbreakable. The pathetic look she'd have on her face would be so satisfying...but that wasn't the right time.
"Its pointless to cry over something that doesn't belong to you, be the presidency, or even Draken Hunt!" Emma said proudly.
The door swung open and her mom came in along with cousin Alex.
Alex immediately ran towards Emma. He showed much more concern for her than for Sam.
"Emma! What the hell do you think you're doing here in my building!" Her stepmother snapped at her, as she rushed over to Sam's side.
"Your building! I should be the one saying that auntie. Its time to put an end to this madness" Emma shot back at her.
"Mom! She openly challenged me for the presidency, she wants to take it away from me" Sam broke down in front of her mom.
"You two cut it out. Emma, things don't have to be like this, we can talk it out" Alex intervened, holding her shoulders.
"Talk? Seriously.....they didn't give me a chance when I wanted to talk. I won't either" she brushed off his hands from her shoulders in an instant.
This was her struggle to become President. She wasn't doing this for herself, but for her mom and Draken too.
"Your father won't let you off easily when he hears about this you insolent girl!" Her step mom yelled at her.
What was she trying to prove??
Emma felt like she was in a cage she couldn't escape from, she clenched her fists in anger...but managed to keep herself calm admist the storm.
"Auntie please do tell dad about it, I don't really care anymore" those were the last words she said before she walked out.
"Emma wait we need to talk" her cousin Alex followed from behind.
Shaun was on standby, ready to hit this man if he made any single move to touch his boss' wife.
"Alex, there's nothing to talk about...what do you even want from me?" Emma almost took out her frustrations on him.
"I'm worried about you..." The same old line he used.
"I already have a husband to worry about me, you don't have to. If there's anyone who you should worry about, it's Sam" Emma chose her words carefully.. but her voice was full of sadness.
"Goodbye cousin Alex..and please do me a favour, don't tell anyone about my marriage. I'd really appreciate it"

AT OURACLE~~~~~
"The sales have been increasing these past few days President Hunt...Ouracle is out of the crisis that was in before as you can see.."
Draken was in a meeting with the financial team... listening carefully to the presenter up front.
His hard work had paid off...his sacrifice of leaving Emma didn't go in vain. Ouracle was safe in his hands, safer than it ever was under the chairman. His old man would surely be so proud of him.
His phone rang....Shaun calling. The call was important.
About Emma
"Let's take a five minute break" he stopped the meeting and this left the employees in the room wondering.
Draken Hunt had never stopped a meeting or even asked for a break... during a meeting! They were asked to go out and he was left alone inside.
"What happened?"he asked, clearly worried.
Shaun reported everything that had happened at Dave Corporation. The situation was rather threatening. Only Shaun could tell him about it, knowing Emma, he knew she wouldn't want to bother him with her problems.
"How's she?" His voice was lower than expected.
"I can't explain her current mood boss, its better you find out yourself" Shaun replied..
before Draken hung up and dailed Emma's number right away.
"Yes husband?" Her cheerful voice sounded in his ears from the other side of the line.
"Let's grab lunch together, you haven't eaten have you?" He asked in a cheerful voice as well.
"You know me so well. Fine then, I accept your lunch date Mr Hunt" Emma just knew how to brighten his mood through mere words.
"Then Mrs Hunt, come over to my office. I'll be waiting" Draken hung up.. without awaiting her answer.
He had a lunch date to prepare for.
She just made him want to forget everything and focus on just her.
He was madly in love with her...
