Chapter 59 - Stalking to kill

That man called someone, speaking terrifying words as if preparing to take an order from the other side to finish the job.

"Sir! Do you need her killed?" "Not yet! Find a time when she is alone and question her clearly. If she still denies it, create an excuse and kill her!"

"Yes, sir!" After receiving the order from the other side, the man's expression remained neutral, yet he thought about Hana's actions just a high school student having fun with her friends making him mutter a bit, "Hmph! Such a little girl, yet she ends up like this!" As for Hana, she soon went to the police station to ask for a female police officer named tu Kannika. She sat quietly waiting to meet that specific officer. Even though other officers questioned her, she showed no fear; only upon meeting the female officer she sought could she speak. That day, Kannika had received the news as well and hurried to finish her work to return to the office. Along the way, she wondered: What exactly is going on with this girl? It was a pity that back then, nothing was found as evidence; even though the case was forced to close, the police continued to investigate but found no new clues. Suddenly, Hana seemed to be a reminder for this female officer as well. A moment later, the sound of a car parking erupted. Hana turned toward the sound, her face looking urgent as if she wanted to say something. When the female officer arrived, she stood up slowly, her fingers gripping each other tightly. The officer noticed her behavior.

"Follow me!" "Yes!" They walked into a room with chairs on both sides for Hana and the officer. "Speak! What is the matter?"

"Since the last time I was questioned, I consider that I have known you, sister. I don't know if it's a bother or not, but I feel like someone is following me!" The officer kept staring at her without saying a word. "Right, there is no evidence; how could anyone believe it?" Hana lowered her voice. "But I wanted to come and tell you because I feel comfortable telling you!" "Have you told your parents yet?" "I have! They are on their way." The officer agreed, wanting to observe her actions as well, even though she had to find time to help solve the girl's problem. Returning home, Hana played with her kitten normally; she did not tell this story to her friends.

After finishing a phone call, wounds were seen bandaged on his neck and body, with an assistant looking after him. The doctor came to provide information that tomorrow he could leave because it had been over a month already. "But when do you want to leave, sir?" Actually, after being dealt with by the Big Boss, he only needed one week of hospital bed rest, but the Big Boss had said, "Since that mouse hasn't been found, stay in that hospital; do not leave under any circumstances!" The words sounded normal, like concern, but they were a command. It had been a long time, and there was nothing to confirm who killed pud. Even though mister 3 (Lok 3) investigated until he suspected Hana, just like the police, there was nothing to prove she actually did it! Therefore, there was only the "hot dharma" (harsh) method left to wait and see if Hana would confess or not. If not, killing her wouldn't be a heavy matter, following the anger of Lord 3, who had been patient because he saw she was a student. However, it was because of her that he was in this condition! Lord 3 seemed to decide everything on his own. Hana didn't even know that someone was investigating her for an old matter; she only knew about a strange new tracking recently. But is that so?

Anyway, she was also careless; even though she acted as if she didn't know she was being followed, she knew that the follower surely knew she was pretending not to know, so she just acted normal to see what that person wanted to do. From school to home, home to school—these past few days she went nowhere else! After a few days passed with no incidents, her parents, who had taken time off work, returned because Hana insisted she was fine. Even though she insisted she was okay, her foster parents seemed to worry about her as well. During these days, the female officer always gave Hana a ride to school and back home, making kan quite curious. Hana said there was someone following her, so she asked this officer to help; she told kan while smiling and joking. Kan was surprised, yet Hana told her not to tell anyone. Kan knew because she was quick enough to see the officer nearby, even at a distance. Hana said, "Don't forget tomorrow is Sunday!" then parted ways with kan. Even as Kan walked away, she glanced back and saw the officer following behind. Kannika, who was sucking on a candy while walking behind, waved her hand at kan. She's smiled, bowed her head slightly, and returned to her home.

"Yeah! For these past few days, has that person still not made any move? Just following you?" "Yes! It's strange. So, to not waste your time, from tomorrow onwards, you don't need to help give me a ride to school! Thank you and sorry for bothering you, sister!" "Why bother? It's fine! Being home alone like this is very dangerous!" The officer said, "Little one, if anything happens, don't forget to tell me immediately." "Yes!" It seemed the officer spoke without much observation because during these days, Hana seemed like a normal girl who was afraid and spoke honestly about the follower's activities. Officer Kannika had tried to catch him a few times, but that person always escaped in time; his face was never clearly shown.

"Then I'm going inside!" "Mmm!" The officer prepared to walk back home. At that moment, her phone rang it was her junior saying, "If you're coming back, don't forget to buy a case of noodles, because the office is out of noodles!" "Yeah! How dare you use me?" The junior could only beg jokingly. Suddenly, a sound erupted from inside.

"Ah!" The junior on the other end heard it too and immediately asked his senior what happened! But she had no time to answer; she told him to listen and, if anything happened, to hurry to Hana's house!

Upon entering, she saw Hana with a bleeding head! She was being held by that man who, despite wearing a mask, showed eyes that were bruised and bloody as if he had been beaten. "Die, you!" he said quietly while pulling Hana's necktie! The state of the house was a mess because Hana had tried to escape earlier. Hana's legs kicked a nearby object, causing a sound, and she tried to scream, but the man covered her mouth; luckily, she had screamed just before the officer entered in time. This made the man not expect the police to not have left yet. He turned, dragged Hana's neck up, and pulled a knife from his pocket! He pretended to shout at Hana, "Why did you betray me, honey?!" acting as if he mistook Hana for a lover who betrayed him. Hana couldn't move, her body was out of breath, and the officer, who hesitated before, was thinking. Suddenly, the man was about to slit Hana's throat, and the officer quickly grabbed a small flower vase nearby—below it was the broken vase stained with blood that the man had used to hit Hana's head earlier—and threw it straight, causing the knife to fall from his hand. The officer didn't wait; she kicked the knife away, and while the man's hands continued to choke Hana, Hana tried to pull away and scratch his hands even though she was exhausted. The officer hit the man and saw that his face was full of wounds, then beat him until he loosened his grip. The officer rescued Hana and told her to go to one side and sit to breathe properly. The man seemed exhausted as well and was caught in a lock by the officer and handcuffed, waiting for her junior to arrive. Seeing the scene, the junior hurried to take Hana to the hospital. Hana was carried by Phirun, the officer's junior, into the car and rushed to the hospital because Hana whispered not to call an ambulance to avoid a commotion in the village, especially her house; she didn't want anyone to know. However, the Class President of 11D had seen the police car coming to Hana's house and then driving away very quickly; he wondered about it. The female officer hadn't asked Hana anything yet; she was waiting outside and filling out the forms for Hana, while also contacting Hana's guardians. Hana was in the room, with the doctor attending to her wounds. "Senior! What happened just now?" "That bastard... we've detained him. I didn't expect him to dare enter a high schooler's house like this!" The Class President of 11D seemed curious and uncomfortable; he messaged kan that he had seen a police car at Senior Hana's house and it drove away very fast! Kan messaged Hana wanting to know, but seeing Hana didn't reply, she felt a bit uneasy because she also knew someone had been following Hana for a few days. Not long after, she hurried to Hana's house with the Class President of 11D. Kan opened the house gate because she saw it wasn't locked. Suddenly entering and pressing the code, she saw the house in a mess with blood, making Kan cover her mouth and almost collapse; the Class President of 11D, stunned by what he saw, helped lift Kan. She screamed for Hana throughout the house in worry. Silence, no reply. She figured she must be at the police station. When they came back outside, they saw Officer Kannika and her junior, who immediately asked Kan if she had touched any of these objects. Kan shook her head and asked for Hana. The officer told them the location of the hospital where Hana was staying, but she mentioned that Hana didn't want many people to know! Kan hurried out, calling Siv Siv to the hospital as well; she hadn't told her the reason yet but told Siv Siv to come quickly. The two officers then stayed to take photos of the messy scene and noted that such a large house actually had no cameras! Actually, this matter was not a formal complaint or a legal case yet, just a follow-up through a private request. Let's wait and see if Hana will confess about that person.
