As Crocodile fought Luffy, "Quickly raise the white flag of surrender! Surrender immediately, Royal Army!" Vivi shouted at the Royal Army.
"Princess Vivi, what are you saying?"
"Surrender?"
"What will become of this country if we surrender?"
The soldiers were confused and started discussing amongst themselves!
Just then, "Thump... Thump... Thump..." A figure walked down the steps from the palace gate towards the Royal Army.
"Hey, look!"
"That's... Koza!"
"Why is the leader of the rebel army here?"
The soldiers were full of questions.
"Quickly do as Vivi says! I'm no longer seeking victory!" Koza shouted, "I want to stop this war!"
Koza held his sword in front of him, "I will inform the rebel army, tell them this war is meaningless, tell them we have no reason to fight anymore! To stop the needless bloodshed, quickly raise the white flag, please!"
Moments later, a portion of the rebel army reached the palace square. "Hurry! The king's head is just ahead!"
"I see the clock tower!"
"Prepare to attack!"
Just then, tens of thousands of Royal Army soldiers, every single one of them, raised white flags! And on the stone platform directly in front of the Royal Army stood Koza, the leader of their rebel army!
The people at the very front couldn't see the situation clearly and held out a hand to stop those behind them!
"White flag! The Royal Army has raised the white flag of surrender!" The civilian at the very front shouted, and the news instantly spread to the rear!
"Mr. Koza, why are you here?"
"The war is over! Everyone, calm your anger, put down your weapons! The Royal Army has no will to fight!" Koza shouted!
"Is that true, Mr. Koza?" The civilians were incredulous.
"Yes. The battle is...!"
"Bang... Bang... Bang... Bang!" Several shots hit Koza directly, and the culprit was a Royal Army soldier!
Koza, covered in blood, looked at those who were worried about him and slowly said, "No, don't fight anymore!"
..."We're going to build a great city! Make this country even more beautiful! Hmm... it will definitely happen!"
..."Mr. Koza!"
"How dare you hurt Mr. Koza!"
"Kill them!"
The rebel army's fury instantly reached its peak!
Meanwhile, Vivi looked at the familiar tattoo on the right arm of the murderer, "Baroque Works!"
Just then, gunshots erupted, but they came from within the rebel army! In this disorganized group, there were only more undercover agents!
The battlefield spiraled out of control. Even without the sandstorm from the original story, the war escalated! Nothing else mattered; this wasn't a battle of ten, a hundred, or a thousand people, but a war of tens of thousands. Koza... couldn't stop it!
"Why? Stop! Listen to me!" Vivi shouted on the stairs leading to the palace! Unfortunately, no one noticed her!
"Ah... Where's Luffy?" Chopper rushed into the crowd, climbed the steps, and saw Vivi shouting!
"Tony?" Vivi was surprised, then pointed to the palace, "He..."
"Everyone...!" A loud voice came from the sky, "I'm leaving the palace to you! You must... save Vivi's country! When I return, I will resolve... everything!"
A red figure soared across the sky, like a crimson star, heading deep into the desert!
"See, see! I knew it all along, Luffy is definitely still alive!" Usopp's expression was excited!
"Really? Is that the face of someone who knew it all along?" Sanji said calmly.
"Go quickly! The palace is in your hands!" Zoro smiled.
"If even you can't win, who can?" Nami's eyes were filled with tears!
"Vivi, what's the situation?" Nami asked.
"Everyone...!" Tears streamed down her cheeks... Deep in the desert, "Bang!" A brown figure crashed down, creating a hemispherical crater with a radius of 10 meters, lying there weakly!
"Cough cough, damn Straw Hat kid!" Sir Crocodile was covered in blood, which even stained the ground beneath him!
Luffy's ultimate attack had severely wounded him, almost to the point of death! The power of that punch was at least close to or reached 80 points, comparable to an Admiral's strongest purely physical attack!
"Damn it, if it weren't for..." Crocodile had clearly underestimated him. That level of power couldn't normally be unleashed! Because Crocodile relied too much on his Logia ability, he allowed Luffy to charge up his big move in place!
"However, luckily it's in the desert... this is... my home turf! I can recover in less than a day... then...!" Sir Crocodile was envisioning the future when suddenly, his heart tensed! As if he would die the next second! He looked up at the sky, only to see an extremely long leg descending from above!
"Gum-Gum Battle Axe!" A sand trench nearly a hundred meters long and several meters deep instantly appeared in the desert!
Crocodile in the distance looked exhausted, his face pale. Luckily, he instinctively used active Logia transformation just now, but, "Cough... cough..." Crocodile clutched his chest, the intense pain in his internal organs terrifying him. His injuries... had worsened!
"Crocodile!" In an instant, Luffy's leg stretched out and swung. Crocodile crossed his arms, and with a "bang," he blocked the attack, but then another punch flew out! Crocodile was sent flying several meters!
"Crocodile, you're too weak!" Luffy pressed his advantage, knowing that once the water on his body evaporated, he would be in danger. His 8.8 Armament Haki was clearly not enough to grab Crocodile's body! He had to finish this quickly!
"Desert Sunflower!" Crocodile endured the severe pain, propped himself up with his right hand, and a vortex suddenly appeared in the desert, engulfing Luffy!
"Jet Gatling!" Luffy slammed his fists into the center of the vortex, flying out, then followed with a "Gum-Gum Screw Punch!"
"Bang!" Crocodile was sent flying again.
"Damn it!"
"Bang!"
"Damn it!"
"Bang!"
"Straw Hat kid!"
"Bang!"
Next, Crocodile was pummeled by Luffy like a ball! He was disheveled, covered in bruises, blood splattered, and his bones were shattered!
Finally, Luffy punched Crocodile, but this strike had no substance; it passed directly through him! Luffy frowned, then, "Gum-Gum Flurry!" Unfortunately, it was useless!
"Desert Spada!" A sand sword plowed through the desert, heading towards Luffy. Luffy opened his eyes, a red light flashing through them! Dodging with a slight movement of his hair, Luffy avoided the attack!
"Observation Haki +1!"
"Observation Haki +0.5!"
"Observation Haki +0.1!"
...But at this moment, Luffy felt no joy, only because... the offense and defense had switched!
"Multiple Desert Spada!" Sure enough, Crocodile waved his hand, and dozens of small sand blades rushed towards Luffy!
"Sigh!" Luffy sighed, knowing he couldn't dodge, and clenched his fists! "Bang bang!" Luffy shattered several sand blades, but more of them slashed at Luffy, sending him flying! This was the first time Luffy had been injured in his fight against Crocodile!
Luffy propped himself up, over a dozen wounds on his body dripping blood, but Luffy showed a slight smile, "Armament Haki +1"
