A few days passed peacefully. Alistair spent his time experimenting with the [Mark of Ur]. He used his extraction on it and found that the "infection" was spreading through his old school. By the time the exchange program ended, the whole place would be "tagged."
"Alisa, is the side effect of your ascension really this bad? You haven't stopped for days. Even Seraphina isn't this... hungry."
Alistair looked down at the silver-haired girl currently bobbing between his legs. He was curious about their method. Thanks to Seraphina's influence, he hadn't attended many classes. He basically lived in the clubroom. Alisa and Alistair had reached a legendary milestone: 28 sessions in 3 days.
If he didn't have the Horse Talisman for infinite stamina, he'd be a husk.
Alisa pulled away, swallowing the last of his "siege cannon's" heat. She wiped a stray drop of white fluid from her lip.
"Our method is similar to yours, but functionally different," she said, climbing into his lap.
"I know the basics, but the libido? How did you two survive before me?"
"You only know what we let Nina tell you," Alisa smirked. "We weren't this indulgent before. But you... you kept making these 'teasing' movements with your hands, and I thought you were hinting at something. Then you blasted me so hard I dehydrated. I've actually toned it down."
"Toned it down?" Alistair was speechless.
"Our method has flaws. Negative emotions turn into 'Star Space.' We're at 60% progress, but the last 40% is harder than the first. Your method is slow but efficient, and it gives you physical strength. You're like a 'Magic-Martial Dual Cultivator' from a novel. It's enviable."
Alistair learned that their "Evil Holy Grail" absorbed malice from a certain radius. Seraphina had engineered a culture of bullying in the school specifically to harvest the victim's misery. Then, she planted "Resistance" groups—like Nina's—to harvest the bullies' negative emotions when they were fought back.
She's double-dipping, Alistair realized. Even Sakura, Nina's "loyal general," was a plant. Most of Nina's "inner circle" were Seraphina's people.
Alistair had planned to warn Nina about moles, but after talking to the "villains," he realized he was the one being naive.
The clown was me all along?
He couldn't tell Nina. If she found out 8 out of 10 of her members were working for the enemy, she'd have a mental breakdown.
What a twisted world, he thought. He was eyeing that "Evil Holy Grail" now. If he could absorb a "Mystery" item like that, his range and power would skyrocket.
