"Holliace? The name sounds very familiar. Is she one of my sisters?"
Georgia's voice came through Mina Morita's phone. Since Georgia used mana vibrations to communicate, she couldn't talk to Alistair directly and had to use Mina as a medium.
"Most likely," Alistair said. "Being a 'Fallen Demi-God' sealed in an object is your family's signature. Uncle Takai heard she was sealed in a magical diary."
"A diary... yes, I think I remember something," Georgia said hesitantly.
"Well, keep an eye out. If it's her, we should find her," Alistair said.
"I will. Thank you for the information," Georgia replied. "And how is your relationship with Natsuha Shinomiya?"
"Natsuha? Good. We haven't quite... 'closed the deal' yet, but we're close. Why?" Alistair asked bluntly. Georgia's culture was "might makes right," so he didn't bother with human modesty.
"Good. Because my sister, Rhea, has partnered with her," Georgia revealed with a hint of joy.
"Rhea? The one with the scythe?" Alistair remembered the name.
"Yes. It seems they are getting along well. We were 'Abyssal' beings; we only partner with those who have potential. If they lacked it, we would have just devoured them."
"So my girls are all becoming 'Old Man' style protagonists?" Alistair muttered.
They chatted for a bit longer before hanging up, but Alistair's mind wasn't at peace. He suddenly recalled something—an object that gave him an overwhelming sense of dread. It was the dagger Seira Kanonzaka used to threaten him. It had that specific 'Crimson' hue—the color of the Abyss.
Takai had mentioned that the sisters were often sealed into their most-used possessions. The seal was stable unless it touched a living being. Seira had been carrying that dagger for a long time. The "balance" was likely already broken.
I hope she hasn't woken up and gone on a killing spree, Alistair thought. He had "history" with Arisa, and he didn't want to see either of them end up as a sacrifice. He pulled out his phone and sent a message to the Line group.
Alistair: How are things? Seira: What do you want? Arisa: When are you coming back? I'm 'hungry'~~~
The responses were typical, but Alistair felt a nagging wrongness.
I hope it's just my imagination.
Back in the student council room, a raspy voice echoed in the girls' heads. "He's coming back in a day or two? Good. I want to see if this 'Chosen One' has the right stuff."
