At that moment, Victoria furrowed her brows tightly, clenching her mouth shut. Her nails dug deeply into Leo's arm, leaving red marks as she tried to maintain her composure.
"Cough, cough..."
Victoria glared at Leo, using her cough to cover her embarrassment and anger.
"I took a delivery order; I'm on my way. I'll call you back later." With that, she quickly hung up the phone.
She then turned to Leo, slapping him on the arm. "You jerk! How shameless can you get?"
His despicable behavior was simply outrageous.
"What? Afraid your sweetheart will find out and be heartbroken?" Leo taunted.
Victoria felt aggrieved but quickly devised a plan. Suppressing her disgust, she placed her hands on his waist and pretended to be dissatisfied. "Is that all you've got, Master Carter? Didn't you eat?"
She forced a smile. "Compared to Lucas, you're way off. Is this the 'disinterested in women' reputation you have in New Orleans? If you ask me... it seems more like you're just weak."
