Karl was very careful about the path he chose, leading Dexa by the hand the whole way.
She had a youthful physique, with her tail tucked between her legs, and her ears perked up, listening nervously to the sounds around them.
For a moment, it really felt like walking a little dog.
Though this little dog had a very unpleasant expression.
Karl, holding the chain, soon arrived at a tree, pointed at it, and said, "You haven't had a little break all day, do it here."
"?" Dexa's eyes narrowed, gleaming coldly in the night.
Like a predator waiting to hunt in the darkness.
"Slap!" Karl raised his hand and slapped her buttocks hard. The young girl's figure was not plump, so there wasn't much cushioning, leaving a clear red handprint on her pale skin.
He hadn't held back at all.
After all, a body at the peak of the sixth-tier couldn't possibly be damaged, so there was no need for tenderness.
Dexa bit her lip, not making a sound, her hands braced against the ground in silent defiance.
"Slap, slap, slap!"
A continuous slapping sound echoed through the deep forest. Karl didn't hold back; even if each slap wasn't at full strength, he didn't intentionally ease up.
As the slaps fell again and again, her fair skin turned almost entirely purplish-blue.
Karl's slaps weren't limited to just one spot.
Until...
"Sizzle..."
A faint sound of flowing water began, then became uncontrollable.
Dexa's lips were bleeding from her biting, but when her body was constantly under attack, it wasn't something she could endure with just willpower.
Chapter 210: Task Master
Furan returned to the small wooden house at dawn after overseeing the construction of the trebuchets, to report the progress to Karl. She pushed open the door and saw Karl sitting on the wooden bed.
He was focused, with Dexa lying on his lap.
Karl was applying medicine to her, the most common ointment used by the Black Dragon Legion for the wounded.
He first dabbed the ointment onto his hand, then covered Dexa's purplish-blue skin with his palm. The herbal medicine brought a slight coolness, and his movements were gentle.
Dexa's face was pale, she bit her lip, and remained silent.
The scene was strangely eerie.
"What happened?" Furan frowned, her gaze lingering on Dexa's wounds and Karl's face. She didn't believe anyone in the deep forest could harm Karl.
"It's nothing, just some little games. Are the trebuchets ready?" Karl said, applying the medicine, his fingertips tracing the crevices.
Dexa seemed numb to these unacceptable actions.
Perhaps she had already gotten used to it.
She even stopped reacting to these intimate gestures.
"Mm." Furan found Dexa's change very strange, she nodded slightly, and didn't ask further.
She was afraid Karl would stab her again.
Furan didn't actually mind being with Karl, but he always went about it in unconventional ways, and played too many elaborate games, which she couldn't accept.
She took half a step back.
She cast these irrelevant thoughts out of her mind.
"Should those captives be brought back first?"
According to their previous promise.
The completion of the trebuchets meant that the ten slaves involved in the construction would gain their freedom. This decision, in her opinion, was simply outrageous.
She had gone to Kasha.
But Kasha didn't care at all, telling her to continue obeying Karl.
Dexa's eyes narrowed when she heard about the ten captives, but she remained lying down, not speaking.
"Of course, I keep my word." Karl applied all the ointment in his hand to Dexa's wounds, his fingertips naturally digging in a little.
Dexa bit her lip, not speaking.
"Let's go." Karl stood up, "Call all the captives. I will fulfill my promise in front of everyone."
Furan, hearing this, had a big question mark appear above her head.
She looked at Karl in confusion, her expression clearly saying: You're sick, and not just a little.
She watched Karl pull out a wooden box from beside him and say to Dexa, "Hide in there."
"Bastard." Dexa looked at the wooden box and finally erupted in anger, her eyes bloodshot. After a whole night of humiliation, her fury had reached its limit.
She didn't want to endure it anymore.
"Quietly hide in the wooden box." Karl's voice was gentle, "You wouldn't want your companions to see you like this, would you? You can confirm your companions' safe departure from inside the wooden box."
Dexa's expression changed, her anger reaching its peak, then rapidly disappearing.
She looked at the wooden box with a confused expression, her face changing. Just as Karl said, she really didn't want anyone to see her current appearance.
Hiding in the dark and watching her companions, who were trapped because of her, be rescued was what she longed for.
Dexa hesitated for a moment, but still obediently crawled into the wooden box.
The wooden box was very narrow; she had to curl her tail and body together to fit inside. There were two holes, one at the front and one at the back of the box, allowing her to see the outside world.
Unexpectedly thoughtful.
Karl closed the lid of the wooden box, and Dexa was plunged into a dark, confined space.
He stood up and picked up the wooden box.
"Let's go, remember to call all the captives."
"Yes." Furan only felt a wave of exhaustion. Looking at Karl, he first had her randomly separate and detain over a hundred captives, and then every so often, mix up the detention groups and locations.
Now he wanted to gather them all again.
It was simply torture.
Despite her internal grumbling, Furan still obediently followed Karl's instructions.
Time quickly passed, and under the escort of the Lizardmen, over a hundred captives gathered outside the forest.
They looked at each other, their expressions varied.
Some had fearful eyes, while others looked resolute, already prepared for death.
Karl stood in front of the crowd, holding the wooden box in one hand, then placing it on his lap: "As per our agreement, in addition to those ten, I will release two more as a reward for your performance. Do you have anyone specific you wish to be released?"
As he spoke, two fingers reached into the two holes on the other side of the wooden box.
Only then did Dexa realize why there were two holes both front and back. She clenched her jaw, but hiding in the wooden box, with her subordinates not far away.
She dared not make too loud a sound or any sudden movement, fearing it would attract attention.
Karl's fingers easily found the gap. Taking advantage of her immobility, his fingertips gently entered. This wolf girl was still a virgin, and he was not in a hurry, just teasing her from the periphery.
"No." Dexa's voice came from the wooden box, muffled.
"Good." Karl stood up, he slowly walked to the front of the crowd, his gaze sweeping over everyone's faces: "Gentlemen, we fight for our respective masters. I recognize your bravery as knights, so I will not harm you, and in the end, I will let you all go."
When his words fell, there was a pin-drop silence below.
No matter how righteously Karl spoke, these captives had all experienced Karl's treachery.
Silence was their answer.
Karl, seeing this, didn't mind.
He turned and found Furan, instructing her to pick out two additional lucky individuals at random, besides those who helped build the trebuchets last night, and let them leave together.
Furan, hearing this, felt speechless.
But she still did as told. Just like that, a total of twelve people were pulled from the crowd.
Karl smiled: "You can leave now."
The twelve looked at each other, unable to believe their ears.
Someone bravely took a few steps, and seeing no reaction from Karl, walked faster and faster, finally breaking into a full sprint.
The others, seeing this, also followed suit, beginning to run towards Snow Peak Fortress.
Karl, meanwhile, stood still, watching them depart.
Everyone present watched the twelve leave. Their figures receded into the distance, until they ran all the way to the distant Snow Peak Fortress.
Although they were just black dots, the eyesight of the people here was still quite good, confirming that these individuals had indeed safely run into the fortress.
At this moment, strange shouts erupted from the crowd.
They still couldn't believe that Karl had actually let them go.
"Quiet." Karl said with a smile, "Next, we still need ten people to build trebuchets for us. When you return, someone will ask you. Again, it's first come, first served."
This time, Karl did not allow people to sign up in front of everyone, but instead had them return, be detained separately, and then sent people to inquire.
As his words fell.
The remaining ninety-odd captives looked at the people around them, their expressions beginning to change strangely.
Furan stood by, her brows tightly furrowed, as if she had vaguely grasped something.
Karl returned to the wooden house, opened the wooden box, and released Dexa. Looking at the young girl's complex expression, he revealed a gentle smile: "I keep my word. Now you just need to continue completing tasks, and everyone will gain their freedom."

Chapter 211: What Do You Want To Do?
"Come on, do it yourself." Karl lay on his back on the floor, Dexa's snow-white neck adorned with a collar, her eyes vacant, her wolf ears drooping.
The young girl's tender body sat on Karl's lap, searching for a position, but lacking experience, it wasn't so easy.
Karl kept his promise and released twelve captives.
Dexa believed that her sacrifices were meaningful. Under Karl's PUA, her endurance of humiliation was an atonement for her own mistakes.
The wolf girl had given up thinking.
"What a pity." Karl rested his hands behind his head, a look of regret on his face. He actually wished Dexa's resistance was stronger.
That way, he could engage in some bolder games.
Dexa's body slipped, failing again. She pursed her lips, feeling ashamed and helpless.
"It's okay, no need to rush." Karl reached out and gently stroked her head. The wolf ears were fluffy, feeling much like a little dog's.
After he spoke, he snapped his fingers casually.
The wooden room door opened.
Furan, with a livid face, walked in from outside, saw their posture, and rolled her eyes.
Karl pointed at Dexa: "She's inexperienced, you come and help her push her back."
... Furan's fists clenched. She had been busy supervising the construction of trebuchets and managing the captives in separate zones, all this trouble because of Karl.
Now she was being asked to push her back.
Furan's anger surged, rushing to her head. When her anger reached its peak, she just got angry for a moment, then walked behind Dexa.
