*Aria's POV*
I succeeded in finishing up my chores before noon and this was because Jaxon assisted me with the cleaning the garage and washing the windows. Autumn would come soon and we had to make sure the trees in the garden were in good conditions. After the two of us had freshened up we sat on the floor in the living room eating from a big bowl of potato chips as the football game was about to begin
"You haven't told me about your father?" He began, pulling me to sit on his laps "why did he divorce your mother and why aren't you in touch with him?"
I shrugged dissmively and placed my head on his broad chest. He smelled of mint cologne and the lushness of his red lips beckoned to my frail soul "I don't really like talking about my father. He's a stranger to me now and I've been doing well, especially with you in my life"
